i wasnt a huge fan of the sham mirrors. I would have liked it more if it had more bm influence. idk

id completely disagree with that. I'd much rather listen to something esoteric and not generic when im high. I mean, i dont even listen to bands that i do like that are in the similar vein of Amorphis when im high.

The Karelian Isthmus is really ****ing good, one of my favorite death metal albums. Tales is compositionally sound I guess but it's lacking energy and conviction imo.
