theyre kinda like Impaled Nazarene's newer stuff.

Goatwhore kinda copied their style and made it suck alot more, just to give you an idea kind of.
I can hear the Goatwhore in the songs I listened t, more Funeral Dirge sound than Haunting Curse, But I dont think they "copied". And even if they did, out of the songs I listened to (just whats on their myspace)...I'll take Goatwhore

Angmar 09-18-2007 04:55 PM

I like Heartwork a lot. One of the better melo-death albums IMO.

pate 09-18-2007 05:31 PM

Has anyone heard Bill Steer's post-Carcass band Firebird, where he does guitar and vocals? They're quite awesome, some blues-rocky stuff. He's a good blues-rock player.

Agreed. "Arbeit Macht Fleisch" is the coolest Carcass song I've yet to come across.

Angmar 09-18-2007 05:59 PM

For NSV I like Crown of Horns the most tbqh.

Deth 09-18-2007 06:57 PM

Crown of Horns or Phobophile, but the whole album is great.

rattlehead42147 09-18-2007 06:58 PM
no, but I'd like to! I'll see if I can find it...

Speaking of post-Carcass bands...

Spiritual Beggars, anyone? I haven't heard them yet and was wondering what the best album or song to introduce me to them was...
ive been wondering about Spiritual Beggars for a long time. I heard them a week ago but didn't really like the vocals.
and speaking of carcass, i hate most grindcore but reek of putrefaction is a great cd. i think carcass and terrorizer are the onely ones that can do grind right, i dont care what anyone says about Scum being amazing.

Angmar 09-18-2007 07:09 PM

I like Nasum a lot for grind.

publicastration 09-18-2007 07:12 PM

Me too, Human 2.0 is great.

Nasum are good, indeed.

Bartender 09-18-2007 07:51 PM

He did.

Angmar 09-18-2007 07:53 PM

Yeah that sucks, they are easily my favorite grind band.

Txus 09-18-2007 07:55 PM

I don't like Nasum that much tbqh.

LifeInABox 09-18-2007 07:57 PM
Terrorizer are very cool. Am I mistaken, or did Pete Sandoval play all those drum beats with only one foot?
yes.

Angmar 09-18-2007 08:02 PM

exactly my train of thought.

Battle of Mice rules tbh.

Shred Danson 09-18-2007 09:28 PM

who the **** is Battle of Mice? My guess it's another kickass band that everyone on here will jizz over for a few months and then when they gain a shred of popularity, bash for being mediocre (i.e Necrophagist, Agalloch, Ghoul..).
