Ignore him, it isn't that hard. The guy obviously wants attention and people to get pissed off.

And do you have ITAOT (the album), and if yes could you upload it?
I wish I had that album :(

How do you ignore someone (im still a noob hahaha)

I'm gonna upload that Live in Venice 1989 concert when I get the chance. (school always in the way  )
I know everyone one knows about DKSOTM and the wizard of oz but I found out that Echos sinks up with the pilot episode of DeGrassi? When the part after the seagul part comes on, its like a sonic orgasm?!
It does genuinely fit with the last 23 minutes of "2001: a space odyssey".

Roger apparently always regretted letting that contract slip (they wanted to use atom ehart mother in the soundtrack)

Well I meant ignore him like you would ignore anyone in real life, but if you go to their user profile there should be an option that says "add such and such to your ignore list", and then they're posts will be blocked out.

Actually, it was A Clockwork Orange that Kubrick wanted to use Atom Heart Mother for.
Actually, it was A Clockwork Orange that Kubrick wanted to use Atom Heart Mother for.
And he also approached Roger to compose the score for the final scene of 2001.

Those crazy Pink Floyd guys just couldn't catch a break. :p

I didn't know that about 2001. Cool fact. I would've let Stanley use anything he wanted to. They really did have it hard. :p

Atom Heart Mother is in A Clockwork Orange. Not the music, but the album is in one of the shops in the film.

I find that incredibly exciting. What a weird movie. The book is even weirder.

I'm sure you could find an absolutely perfect picture if you typed in Pink Floyd albums in any search engine.

Distant Echoes 09-04-2005 08:27 PM

Dogs comes close too.

YouGottaBeCrazy 09-04-2005 09:09 PM

Dogs.

BlindWriting 09-04-2005 09:10 PM

I got Meddle about a week ago, and I really like it. One Of These Days is great, and Echoes is a perfect soundscape, and a fantastic, relaxing chill song. The guitar line at about 18:15 is incredibly beautiful.

YES! I know exactly what you mean about the 18:15 part, I memorized the time so I could have a way to tell people about what I meant. That part is so amazing, just like the rest of the album.

Lunch 09-04-2005 09:45 PM

I love the "funky" part in Echoes.

Edit: the part that starts around 7:00.

Yea, basically the whole song is perfect.

It's a little lacking in the middle.

No, if you're talking about the squealy part, I know what you mean. I just kinda skip over that when I say "perfect".

YouGottaBeCrazy 09-04-2005 10:12 PM

Cool. The rest is quite awesome.

I think it's interesting the way Gilmour did the part that sounds like whales. What he did was he just switched the input/output cables on his wah and modded it.

I tried it once and got pretty close results, but I need the wah mod he made.

There's only 4 of those wahs in the world. 3 belong to Gilmour and 1 belong to the guitarist of the Australian Floyd cover band. He got it from Gilmour as a birthday present, the lucky guy.

I thought it was 2 in the world. Gilmour has 1, the cover band guitarist has the other.

DeusExMachina 09-04-2005 11:08 PM

Regardless of whether it's 2 or 4, it's really cool. I want one...

Flaminghotchino 09-05-2005 12:35 AM

Corporal Clegg is a really cool song.

FockerTheLopper 09-05-2005 12:42 AM

its a good album, but it needs "careful with that axe" on it.

The title track sure as hell isn't the best version of that song tho.

I don't.

It fits into the song as a whole, and really makes the bit that comes after it much more effective.
