i have the s/t how does that compare?

which s/t? there's two of them... then a third one that collects those two... then a CD-R which is impossible to get... and then two demos that are also impossible to obtain...

but either way - it's better. I fucking love everything by The Pine. it's all 10/10 for me. but the last album is just mad cr00sh. it's ultimatemo. it's like 43 minutes of crying.

you can't have listened enough to them. they are apparently really hard to get into according to everyone. they weren't too me, but I can definitely see why some people would have some trouble. either they don't like the depressing vocals, or they think the open chords sound too dirty, or they are just overwhelmed by all the energy, and write it off as same-y noise.

anyway The Pine is truly one of the best emo bands of all time. this is my firm belief after diving into their discography. Don't Need Regret is stunning.

yeh bland is an argument I've seen raised. mostly because when you first listen to The Pine it's just an energy explosion, and it sort of blends together.

I didn't say that they were bad... I'm saying I can see why some people might have trouble getting into them because of said things. I've heard some peeps who claim it takes time really appreciating The Pine. for me it was an instant hit though.
