Win A Rabbit 04-01-2007 09:54 PM

I've burned over 1000 calories today. And read about 170 pages from 2 books.

Overall pretty good. It's nice every once in a while to just keep to myself for most of a day. :)
Almost all, i'm sure all, community colleges in the united states offer english classes lower then 100.

College is for educating adults, some people come from other countries, etc there's a lot of reason adults need education that is lower then what would be taught in highschool.

Though at least in CA, the college's are getting mad because the highschools keep pushing out idiots, the average college applicant is going into less then freshmen level college classes in basic subjects, it's very sad really.

No offense to you sunshine, but if you are going to a community college, it's either by choice or force (ie you didn't get into a U.) I choose too for the first 2 years cause it's cheaper and the same classes.
Lots of idiots in JC's. Drop out rates are huge.
Well, this is late. But.

Eh, still. It's insanely depressing, 101 was stupidly easy as-was, anything lower than that...UGH.
My buddies in REAL college, like, 4-year, tell me about how their universities offer crap like "Elementary Math," which is literally math you learn in elementary school.

The only reason I'm taking English at Cochise is 'cause it's better than English 12 in the high school.

Seafroggys 04-01-2007 11:43 PM

hahaha best April Fool's joke ever!

So I'm at work (Target) and Anthony, who runs electronics, told the operator (answers the phone calls, places them on extensions for us sales associates to pick up, and talks on the intercom to page customers) to switch the channel 3 on the walkie, the private conversation channel. Seconds later, over the intercom, I hear "Glen Quagmire, please meet your party over at Electronics. Glen Quagmire, please meet your party over at Electronics."

I busted up laughing so loud. One of my coworkers heard me halfway across the store.

Little Android Man 04-01-2007 11:48 PM

mine was better.

im too lazy to type it out again

LedZePpeLin1307: me: *turns around* Mom, i think im gay.
LedZePpeLin1307: *awkward silence, with my sister in the bed next to us*
LedZePpeLin1307: Mom: it's okay joey
LedZePpeLin1307: me: *head buried in hands*
LedZePpeLin1307: 30 seconds later...
LedZePpeLin1307: APRIL FOOLS!

LoneStarDrummer 04-02-2007 12:02 AM

that's a good one.

when i first started driving i used to drive my moms vehicle, and one april fool's day after school i came inside with a concerned look on my face told my mom how i fudged up her new vehicle. i told her crap like i was gonna get a job over the summer to help pay for the damages and how the car wasn't safe to drive at the moment and how the front wheel was bent inward.

she went out to asses the damage and i told her, "i lied retard! it's april fool's day. i get to lie to people and if they fall for it, then they're a dumb *** fool. now go make me a sandwich, i'm hungry."

i actually didn't say that to my mom. i loves her. i would never talk that way to mes mum.

the_pure_drummer 04-02-2007 04:42 AM

Morning all.

Retarded Chipple 04-02-2007 05:35 AM

Hey guys!

I watched nearly the whole of season 5 of Family Guy last night and I've started seeing everything in cartoon

The Chemist 04-02-2007 05:47 AM

i told you no acid for breakfast

the_pure_drummer 04-02-2007 05:47 AM

I'm very pissed of with drumming at the minute.

The Chemist 04-02-2007 05:50 AM

Have you hit the proverbial brick wall?

maniac0796 04-02-2007 05:52 AM

The metaphorical glass ceiling women experience in the workplace...

Lol at feminism. I hope they realize that means men can beat them without feeling guilty.
Have you hit the proverbial brick wall?
No, my kits falling apart!

coffee_spiders 04-02-2007 06:03 AM

I'm getting my own kit soon, i'm all excited. I can pick what i want as long as i can pay for it and it can fit somewhere in the house. Any ideas?

Pure i'm sorry your kit's falling apart. =[
(my hands are falling apart. seriously)

maniac0796 04-02-2007 06:08 AM

How much money you got?

coffee_spiders 04-02-2007 06:12 AM

About £400. But i have to take out some of that for some courses i have to pay for. Do you think i can afford some decent stuff with £300?

the_pure_drummer 04-02-2007 06:14 AM

If you go used you could maybe get something good.

Id say save a bit more.....maybe to about £500 and get a real good starter kit that wont fall apart like my damn peice of shite.

maniac0796 04-02-2007 06:21 AM

I just attacked by a huge *** wasp, but i killed it with a PC gamer magazine and some right guard sport.

Sunshine 04-02-2007 07:14 AM

I hate Sierra Vista.
I've officially run out of orange hair dye, which I get in Japan.
So I say OK, well, I can live without henna, I'll just get real dye and attempt not to stain the bathroom.
And Sierra Vista doesn't carry orange dye, joy.
But I can't do red...long story.
[Not really, but eh.]
So I bought a bottle of violet, and am going to see how it turns out..I would've done purple, but the purple was too dark...
I'm going to miss the orange so freakin' much. Manic Panic doesn't work, so that's out...I just hope St. Louis has a better situation f'me.
I've had orange for like 3 years now..before that it was blue, and the blue just didn't look as nice.
Raaah :(

Cool. Sounds like a good idea, thanks. I've got a couple months again to wait...eee excited! ^__^

Little Android Man 04-02-2007 08:09 AM
