Squires can sound good..

Proof - Billie Joe played one on the American Idiot tour, he came over to us and his guitar said "squire" i was like "wtf" then he gave that away and i was like "ohhhh" but it sounded damn good for a squier.

10571z 11-12-2005 05:45 AM

any guitar can sound good through a good rig and the right pedals and compressors and equalisers and a bunch of other crap... but on the whole im impressed with squires

Get Fighted 11-12-2005 07:28 AM
Squiers are pretty decent starter guitars. I've had the one I started on for almost five years now and it still works. They don't sound really amazing or anything, but they get the job done as far as learning goes until you move on to an actual Fender or something else.
agreed, i have a squire and it works great at what its good at but i need one with humbuckers and its not worth adding one to my current guitar so i think ill get the tom delonge squire for £200. and in time get a real fender

There is a "Sigur Ros/Jimmy Eat World" take on Pathetic. I can actually hear both of the influences in the cover, and it is great.

Angry Balled Fists! 11-12-2005 02:28 PM

Squiers are fine.

Untitled 11-12-2005 02:32 PM

I have a squier Bass, its fine, i want a Squire guitar maybe, if i dont get an Epi, because one ive seen, it looks qwuirky, ive not seen a guitar like it.

Chris, that sound dosnt sound right, its realy good, just the lyrics dont fit.

sam_182 11-12-2005 07:26 PM

i play a squire strat. its fine.

im thinking of buying a stagg tom delonge copy (exactly the same invador pickup=same sound) the only difference is the build.

and for $240 aus (100 pounds, or $175 usd.). its pretty damn good.

DJ Ducksauce 11-12-2005 07:42 PM

I have a Squire Strat also. I wanna new guitar sometime soon though. Maybe a Gibson or a Fender. I don't really know right now. I'm getting a new amp for Christmas since I've screwed up my old one already.

cobert 11-12-2005 08:09 PM

I have a fender J bass.

/awkward

10571z 11-12-2005 08:33 PM

i have a mark hoppus sig pink i love it!!!

DJ Ducksauce 11-12-2005 08:39 PM

I don't think I could stand to have a pink guitar. I mean, I wouldn't be able to play it in public.

HomeCatMickey8 11-12-2005 09:29 PM
I have a fender J bass.

I want that. But, $450 (plus $200 to buy a decent amp) is not in my possesion at the moment. And I still need to get a USB and synthesiser. I doubt I get a Jazz Bass until I'm like 30, but I'll get around to it.

Back to Blink... does the "Greatest Hits" mark then end of their putting out of albums?

my squire broke within the first 3 months of owing it and id idnt even play that much so it was kept well.........good thing fender doesnt care about guitars that are under 200 bcusk so they completly jsut refunded it even tho it was jsut some simple wire malfuntions.......and squires arent the best cheap guitars, the ebst cheap guiatrs are like some over seas les paul copys, some of them are amzing like mine.

teh squire i haev tahst doesnt work im thinkg of turning into a delonge strats if uhave enough money after investing ins ome new pups for my everyday guitar and a new amp

10571z, you no longer have the worst grammar.

tombit 11-12-2005 10:12 PM

You guys should check out the bass that Mark donated to Unit the United. Its awsome.

I think its like a white fender, jumbo medium fretboard, black custom pickguard, signitured by mark himself. It says it was played by him, but you'd have to see if it was worn.

They might not be done. There is no proof that for sure their done. They might come back. I really think they should just call it quits.

And yea, 10571z doesn't have the worst spelling. Redrumsixsix6 is about 3x worse.

Is that the one on eBay? I got an email about that, except I thought Tom had somthing too.

Matt: Maybe if they came back after like 10 years or so and did a reunion tour, that would be neat.

Why. Most people love pink guitars expect for all the metal heads at our school. But yeh the peoples opinions who actually matter to me love my bass!

Bad Blood 11-13-2005 03:36 AM

I don't like pink guitars. Pretty much everyone who owns a pink guitar around here is a poser.

sam_182 11-13-2005 03:41 AM

dude who gives a flying **** what colour guitars we have. who gives a damn.

is mark hoppus a fkn poser?
