MMT is my second or third favorite Beatles album. It's amazing.

Yer Blues was pretty good.
I havent been in this thread for while and im not reading all the pages so if this has been asked before sorry

is anyone going to NYC on December 8th? ill be there, i have some signs made up,i have some stuff ill be putting into the memorial they have there too, im bringing a couple throwaway cameras for pictures as my digital camera was stolen:(
Why don't people just follow Yoko's lead and celebrate him on his b-day as opposed to his d-day?

Even though it will be 25 years on the 8th. I remember the 20th anniversary and thought that was a long *** time ago.

Lunch 11-23-2005 11:02 PM

Because it's a scientific fact that Yoko sucks. Except in this case she makes sense.

Leper 11-24-2005 12:29 AM

I don't think sucking can be related to science:p. I think we went through this conversation before about celebrating birthdays as opposed to death-days (not in this thread but on the forums). If you ask me though, deaths hold a deeper feeling than births. You don't know someone when they're born, for the most part. But everyone knows when someone famous dies.
Yer Blues is actually on video google. Have Fun.

That was cool. The beginning conversation between Lennon and Jaggers seemed a bit awkward, don't you think?

Jacaranda 11-25-2005 12:04 AM
John Lennon did NOT write Imagine
And thats why its copy writed to his name?

Leper 11-25-2005 12:25 AM

Ya dude, I'm pretty sure people would know if Lennon didn't write Imagine.

Krabsworth 11-25-2005 12:26 AM

Did TEH CLASH write it?

DeusExMachina 11-25-2005 12:28 AM
Did TEH CLASH write it?
lulz.

Your grandpa is wrong, kid. Sorry, but it's the truth.

Krabsworth 11-25-2005 12:29 AM

I can see his grandpa now

"It was the Sixties, and I met this guy, he said he was John Lennon, so I said, Imagine that!, so ya see? The bastard stole my lyrics!"

Leper 11-25-2005 01:00 AM

Hehe just like Dr. Evil's dad with his outrageous claims such as inventing the question mark lol..

DeusExMachina 11-25-2005 01:19 AM
That was cool. The beginning conversation between Lennon and Jaggers seemed a bit awkward, don't you think?
It seemed like they were joking around a bit and a little stoned.

Jacaranda 11-25-2005 02:51 PM

Neither of them are the best actors either...

EDIT: After re-watching that I've decided, they were majorly high although I thought Mick wasn't high at the show.
Huh?...
Don't ask me. I was tired at the time.

Seafroggys 11-25-2005 04:06 PM

Lennon wrote imagine, stop trying to grab attention by being different and stirring the pot.

Leper 11-26-2005 03:45 PM
Don't ask me. I was tired at the time.
Oh, ok then. So I just got to the part in the Anthology book where John and George first took LSD by mistake. George makes it sound like the best thing that ever happened to him..

morrison357 11-26-2005 04:12 PM

magicbus 11-26-2005 06:44 PM

Is there more than one Anthology book, like the albums? Or can I just get the one book and not have to worry about finding the rest?

Krabsworth 11-26-2005 08:03 PM

I think the Anthology book is just one massive book.

Leper 11-26-2005 11:21 PM

Ya I'm pretty sure it's just one big book, that's what I have anyways.

Seafroggys 11-26-2005 11:36 PM

it makes sense, since the one book covers their entire career in great detail....i dunno though

MBS 11-26-2005 11:44 PM

Wow, I just came back from Paul (it was yesterday, but I had to drive back from Vegas) and he was soo good! He lived up to my expectations, for sure.

Seafroggys 11-27-2005 12:17 AM

He beat my expectations the first time I saw him, and matched them the second time....

for the first time I saw him (in '02) I was afraid he wouldn't be any good because he was in his 60s, but **** he sang just as well as he ever has.

magicbus 11-27-2005 12:27 AM
it makes sense, since the one book covers their entire career in great detail....i dunno though
Hey thanks jackass. I've never seen the book, so how am I supposed to know how much of their career it covers?
