Took all those a few hours ago.

Kage 08-12-2007 09:46 PM

The depth of field is all wrong except on the last one.

Nostalgia 08-12-2007 09:48 PM

The only reason the last is on a good depth is because it's at eye level. The reason are perged very high, and are all taken on rocks.

Kage 08-12-2007 09:51 PM

Don't get me wrong, they look good. I've always liked your work.

But what the hell is with all that fog? That's awesome.

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-12-2007 09:51 PM

i'm listening to pinback for the first time. i feel so perriwinkle.

and man, fog is so awesome, i can't wait to be engrossed in it when i move.

Oh, and I'm not calling you incorrect. I've never taken a photography class, and the only knowledge of it I have it just stuff I've picked up along photo trips. Hopefully once I enter college or my senior year I can pickup a course.

The fog surprised me as well, although I really enjoy taking photos when it's clouding, and try to avoid going out when it's sunny.

I've taken some other good ones (my favorites, too) that I don't believe I have posted:

http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w280/havamalnorse/100_2763.jpg
http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w280/havamalnorse/100_3068.jpg

Might enjoy those more. :)

Kage 08-12-2007 09:57 PM

The second one is awesome! You've got a nice eye for that kind of thing, and your framing is perfect.

I think this is the best I've seen from you.

You really would benefit from a course of some sort though. I think you'd really enjoy just fiddling around with a roll of film in the darkroom.

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-12-2007 10:05 PM

there wasn't any fosters austin?

superpeer 08-12-2007 10:07 PM

Yeah, that is disappointing. =(

That photo might be even cooler if you shopped it a bit, idk though, maybe not

I really want a camera ='(

Nostalgia 08-12-2007 10:07 PM

Haha, there might of been. I was too thrown off by the mass number of whips, belts, and hats. :amaze: There was also this drink in there that was really good, it was like a root beer licorice. Can't remember the name, but Jason might be able to clear it up.

superpeer 08-12-2007 10:08 PM

might HAVE been, ffs Austin, we've been over this

Tyler 08-12-2007 10:10 PM

I'm starting to get excited about buying my digital slr. I'm not excited about the price though.

Vegemite, fuck yeah.

superpeer 08-12-2007 11:22 PM

I don't even know what vegemite is. The only thing I know is that it's very Australian and that it is made of koalas, kangaroos and Foster's. But that's all I know.

Apocalyptic Raids 08-12-2007 11:23 PM

It's the spread they use in heaven.

Nostalgia 08-12-2007 11:24 PM

Dude, the rootbeer/licorice drink I'm thinking of is called Sasporilla I believe. I didn't find anything about it when I searched google, so I'm inclined to say I'm spelling it wrong. Does that ring a bell?

Apocalyptic Raids 08-12-2007 11:26 PM

Yeah, I know what you mean.

superpeer 08-12-2007 11:27 PM

It was in the big lebowski, I think.

Nostalgia 08-12-2007 11:30 PM

lol

I was going to buy the vegemite, but it said it was like a yeast extract, which didn't sound too good. Plus, Jason promised to send some. :p

superpeer 08-12-2007 11:32 PM

He should bring me some when he gets here.

Well it's 7:30AM, time for bed.

wtf @ sleeping pattern ._.

i am the robots 08-12-2007 11:33 PM

Oh shi, what do I do in this situation: a friend of mine's ex keeps messaging me on myspace asking to hang out and drink and so forth, and tbh, the bitch is pretty cool, but she's a friend's ex.
