Riley you bastard. That tone is secks right there. Is that just the Warwick straight into your soundcard?
Sure is.

Polyamarous 03-11-2007 06:16 AM

So far I don't know any Aussie's that like the vines.

funkyhoney 03-11-2007 06:20 AM

funkyhoney 03-11-2007 06:28 AM

now do country music, mush

Rollo47 03-11-2007 06:31 AM

Mmm. Haven't practiced it in a while. A more complete version of Norwegian Wood will be ready soon. Crappy, but more complete.

funkyhoney 03-11-2007 06:35 AM

my country music was lame, i have to experiment with tone when recording, and compose some more.. stupid year 12, wasting my time.

blizzard 03-11-2007 06:37 AM

O yeah, Ryan I listened to your Country Music... and you can play parts of it I havn't even attempted to learn.

funkyhoney 03-11-2007 06:42 AM

hahaha

how did you go with sexually active in the end? i'm having trouble getting up to speed, but getting there.

i need a few other songs for the performance though, i'm thinking fretless, someone render assistance (solo this is)

[ps i learnt that country music in about a month]

katana_manatee 03-11-2007 06:44 AM

Hello mx, I have returned, how have things been?

Rollo47 03-11-2007 06:44 AM

LOL I worked on the principle that know one would know if I don't play it at speed.

Hey dude, yeah has been a while, my computer got screwed up and I had to get it fixed after not being able to do it myself lol. My mum's laptop broke a few days after my own so no net access for ages!

I'm not too bad, could be better though, broke up with my gf on Thursday which sucked balls... Long distance thing, we still care for each other a crapload but the distance problem just doesn't make it work. :(

Ah well, was amazing while it lasted and now we are pretty much back to being best friends again.

I've been playing a lot of acoustic guitar after I got a Martin DR at Christmas time but I recently reclaimed my love of bass again after depping for a band whose bassist couldn't manage some of the tunes, but the guy had only been playing six months so fair enough.

Overall I am positive and just working at the moment to save some cash before heading back into studying music again.

What's been happening with you?

Any juicy forum things I have missed btw?

Steve.

yeeeeaaahhh, that's also my reasoning, but i'm a perfectionist :p ... when it comes to music, anything else can fuck off.

I wouldn't have a clue what's been going on here. My PC has also been out of action, and due to the stuffing around of the tech that was fixing it, it had been gone for a month or so. Not cool. Things have been pretty boring really. I've just been working. I'm seeing Bela Fleck and the Flecktones at the end of the month, which should be fantastic, though I'll be in a wheelchair due to toe surgery, hahah.

Radiobass81 03-11-2007 07:56 AM

Rollo: Your tone is too trebly, in my opinion. A tighter tone would've worked better, maybe.

Good recording, but I've never liked the song.

Rollo47 03-11-2007 08:10 AM

Yeah, you're probably right. Just hard to dial in a bit more bass without getting muddy.

Worrpigs 03-11-2007 09:13 AM

everybody here should check out "liquid tension experiment" they are so awesome. my drummer turned me onto them, its the drummer from Dream Theater, Mike Portnoy, and a stick player and other very talented players, theyre really tight.

Ting 03-11-2007 09:41 AM

WOOT LTE!. I've been listening to paradigm shift every day for the past week or so
