Timm 06-21-2006 04:58 AM

huh...when did this happen

anyway!

I cannot wait till saturday. I have the weekend off, germany's playing sweden oooh this should be great fun. yesterday the whole city went mad after we beat ecuador. and on friday there's a promising looking party. :D

I only need to survive a few more days of work.
I really need a small practice amp with good tone. Might save for a Laney LC15R. Anyone agree/disagree?
I haven't tried that particular model so i couldn't say. One of my friend has a 30 watt Laney (not quite sure of the model type) and its got a pretty heinous tone. Its geared more towards Nu-Metal players i think but still it wasn't that solid.

yarly. But no, no spam.

i used to have an LC15R, it was pretty good, only reason i got rid of it was i needed the money to get my HR deluxe because the LC15 wasn't loud enough for band practice as it breaks up, nicely, but early. but for practice at home it's spot on.

Greetings Gentlemen.

Went to alton towers yesterday, screwed my back up on SPinball Whizzer as the brakes jolted :(

Still, 'twas a kick ass day.

And, best of all, I got admittance for a tenner :D

Meatplow 06-21-2006 05:22 AM

Slight issue with the Opera browser from what i have seen, if you log in without the Remember Me button it often doesn't sign me in at all. Also the MX search bar doesn't work. Opera can be a terrible browser.

i need to die btw. Debashish Bhattacharya is coming to norway and i cant go see him

Hint: use a good web browser.

Firefox is always good.

overturned 06-21-2006 05:30 AM

I propose we all just post **** basically.

Meatplow 06-21-2006 05:32 AM
Hint: use a good web browser.
I use every popular browser. Studying web design testing in all types of browsers is crucial, and by far the one i have the most problems with is Opera. I don't recommend it as a sole browser but it is reasonably fast to give it some kind of merit.

Squirrel 06-21-2006 05:48 AM

Fair game.

mx changed some things to deal with hackings.
also, the pit is now "general discussion", rep is back, and the staff prays for the problem users to behave better.

Sad But True 06-21-2006 05:57 AM

Anyone know anything about Mesa preamps?

And/or rack mounted fx?

Ezekiel 06-21-2006 05:59 AM

Yeah.

They cost a fucking load.

And rack mounted fx, the main reason I don't like them pretty much all of them need a MIDI board to work, which can be a bitch to program, apparently.

Pretty crumby reason to dismiss rack gear.

As long as you take the time to learn,it becomes easy, like most things.

Sad But True 06-21-2006 06:12 AM

Cuz I was thinking of eaither getting a Mesa Studio, or a rackmount FX (I need it for delay, reverb, harmonising, studio fx like comp, eq)

If your amp doesn't have an fx loop, I'm pretty boned if I want delay right?

Ezekiel 06-21-2006 06:13 AM

It is a rubbish reason, but I am learning how to use MIDI properly at the mo.

But still, some guy I know who's a complete and utter gearhead and knows this stuff inside out, still has trouble programming a MIDI board to work with his rack processor.

But I'm not completely dismissinf rack processors - I'm considering getting a TC electronics rack processor soon.

overturned 06-21-2006 06:13 AM

Mesa Studio rack is a pre-amp though, not an fx unit...

AG 06-21-2006 06:13 AM
