They formed in 1991.

All the lyrics, and the tracklists for various available bootlegs are available on darklyrics.

Medusa and Hemlock is probably my favorite song so far, it's tied with Lord Abortion.

I need to hear that one. I'm hearing lots of great things about it...

Dani's softer edge to that part is amazing.
It's up there with most of Haunted shores and the middle of Lord Abortion as my favourite Dani vocal part...

I'll tell what all Cradle fans should check out, Vempire. It's a very unknown yet fantastic album. It's got "Queen of Winter, Throned" on it, which could quite possibly be the band's best song.

I started listening to these guys after being told not to for the 900th time. They really aren't that bad, I mean, Dani's queer whispering get's old pretty fast, but the two albums I've got are pretty friggin decent. Yeah, they arent BM, but they aren't supposed to be.

You've got a point there. They don't try to be black metal so I don't see why people should call them posers or whatever.

Well, I think a lot ot if spawns from their main fanbase. I mean, they've got the guys who just like the music, and then the rest of their fans that look like a they were breaking in their newly purchased leather trenchcoats in the make-up section of Shoppers Drug Mart.

My band is going to try to do a cover of Born in A Burial Gown at our next school talent show. Took me a while but i can reach most if not all of the vocals on that song. The keys shouldnt be that difficult.

None of the keys in CoF are really difficult. Usually keys in metal aren't anyway.

True, it's a bizzare mix at a cradle concert, you get these huge beer-bellied metalheads, and all these little mallcore kids. Very amusing, really.
