Congratulations, biatch.

I only know about a half of them on bass, but bass tabs are harder to come by, so i learned a few by ear.

cobert 07-25-2005 01:36 PM

omg bumped

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 03:34 AM

The Crowing is probably my favourite coheed song, i really like 3 evils too i think.

Angry Balled Fists! 07-27-2005 03:51 AM

Oh and Blood Red Summer.

Reywas 07-27-2005 06:11 AM

History
Often referred to as the "Apollo of Dogs", the Great Dane we know today is thought to be originally bred in Germany for hunting large wild boar. The origin of the "Dane" appellation is unclear; the breed almost certainly did not originate in Denmark, and indeed is still known in German as the Deutsche Dogge and in French as the Dogue Allemand, both meaning "German mastiff".

Electric Ocean 07-27-2005 06:35 AM

But in the first comic Apollo is clearly far too small to be a Great Dane....omgwtfbbq!?!?!

Reywas 07-27-2005 07:43 AM
But in the first comic Apollo is clearly far too small to be a Great Dane....omgwtfbbq!?!?!
in the first comic apollo is a baby pooch

cobert 07-27-2005 08:05 PM

So apollo is a dane.

Damn, i was really hoping he would be a terrier, just cause theyre adorable.

TheFACK 07-28-2005 04:15 PM

coheed and cambria is like a chipmunk singing about totally useless things to fast pop guitar and weak drums.

 Singing chipmunks are funny. Especially when singing about your useless thing.

Wow... you're retarded...
http://www.mxtabs.net/tab_versions.php?path=Guitar,c,7823,Coheed+And+Cambria,Everything+Evil,65832 (It's so poppy! I'm about to squeel like a little school girl)
And maybe you should try listening to something like The Crowing or Neverender before judging Josh Eppard.
Actually, you should try listening to more than just the **** on the radio and MTV before judging anybody. Favor House Atlantic and Blood Red Summer are in fact their least flattering songs, and 2 of 3 songs that sound poppy at all.
I won't argue about the singing, but the rest of what you said...
Eat a fat d*ck, listen to something REAL by them, and then you can judge. :thumb:

Stone Cold Bush 07-29-2005 08:04 PM

TMA said it all, you're an idiot. Please don't judge bands after hearing one song, I fail to see how songs like "The Velourium Camper II: Al the Killer" and "2113" are poppy at all.

TMA 07-29-2005 08:07 PM

I think its funny that he tried to fill out his argument by saying "singing about useless things".

TMA 07-29-2005 10:32 PM

Yeah.
So... they could be doing what they're doing now... or... they could be completely generic and sing about girls or the down side of life or the government or how much TheFACK loves Mangina...

cobert 07-29-2005 10:35 PM

Thanks

cobert 07-31-2005 06:10 PM

Okay, here goes....

-When coheed see's his 2 youngest children dead after he poisons them, he says 'Maria my star, Matthew goodnight'.

DEVIL IN JERSEY CITY

-I think the 'speak up let out' part in DIJC is reffering to josephine not wanting to go near the abandoned warehouses with patrick.

-Obvioulsy, 'Devil In Jersey City' is reffering to the biker gang that rapes josie, anmed the 'Jersey City Devils'.

-The 'Down on teh floor, bleeding bastard' pat in teh song is referring to patrick getting jayed in his face, and being unconcious while josie gets raped, and his anger afterwards.

-the 'TAKE, ME, HOME!!!' part is about josie just wanting to see her parents after the entire mess.

EVERYTHING EVIL

-The creaking door in the song is cambria coming in to the kitchen to see josephine, battered and bruised.

-'Make for the table in hopes that i wont be afraid again' is about how coheed really doesnt want to kill josie, but has to anyways. I think 'kill the acquited' and 'unworthy unconciousness' is saying that coheed is going to kill and innocent person.

-'Cannibalistic unfit family ties, a series of knock to the young girls head side' 'evolve monstar, show me the things i never watned done' is simply coheed killing josephine.

-'evolve monstar, show me the things i never watned done' is about coheed killing the gurads taht come in his home after his wife and mayo see eye to eye.

TIES TO 'DELIRIUM TRIGGER' AND 'HEARSHOT KID DISASTER'

-Wilhelm asys 'i need mayo', and not long after, wilhelm says 'Do not dissapoint me, general', and mayo says 'i wont, my lord.' I take this as 'i wont fail you now'. Im looking for something that could possibly be 'dear captain send the SOS, when were gonna go down.' I think the chorus to eharshot kid is this entire conversation.

-After coheed is sedated and taken to a transort, mayo asys he cant risk any of the killganons waking up mid-flgiht. this is proof that dilirium trigger is on a ship and coheed awakes, and kills everyone aboard.

-this is a theory 33, but whatever. I think patrick might come back for revenge on coheed, or another one of the killganons, since he runs away after coheed kills josephine, but 33 mentions his name and claudio himself has called it a chase scene. We'll see soon enough.

TMA 07-31-2005 09:11 PM

cobert, this is why I love you. If it wasn't for the fact that I have a girlfriend and we're both dudes, I'd ask you to have my children.

Mute Print 07-31-2005 09:15 PM

Wow Cob, that's really impressive. I've never read the comics (although I think I might see if my local Hot Topic has them next time I go), but that's cool that you took the time to draw up those comparisons. Nice job. :thumb:

Jeenuh 08-01-2005 03:49 AM

My brother was obsessed with them for a while, he burnt me the CD when he moved and I used to listen to it because my ex liked them. I decided I didn't like them after and I don't know where the cd is anymore, I probably crushed it or something. My friends sister was playing it in the car lots last time I was over and it was ****ing annoying.

DepthsOfDreams555 08-01-2005 02:15 PM

cobert when i read what u put about everything evil it makes more sense to me because at first i was thinkin that the second comic was only about DIJC even though everybody always had said that it would be DIJC and Everything Evil but when i read what u wrote it makes more sense its jus that i havent really been readin anything bout the story lately i got the comic like the first day it came out but i havent been on cobalt for like a month but the only thing that gets me still is at the end of the 2nd comic it has lyrics from everything evil so...........whatever idk

cobert 08-01-2005 07:32 PM

I know I would. My mother wants me to go up to Seattle sometime this fall to look at colleges... maybe I can work it out to be at the time of the show and make her take me...

hey, you're not cory! 08-01-2005 10:28 PM

AHHHH! They're touring with the Blood Brothers and they're coming near here soon but me and my friends are already planning to go see Thrice and Underoath. And they're in the same month. And I doubt that my parents will let me go to two concerts in Chicago in one month. But I guess I can try.

I have a feeling its "Apollo 1" for some strange reason. Oh, and if thats the album cover, not very impressive. :upset:

Edit: Nevermind, I saw the album cover a bit bigger, and I guess that its just a slip cover like IKSOSE:3.

Kif 08-02-2005 06:43 AM

New avatar based on the cover. I think the cover matches the feel of the album. This one is more about the battles and wars isn't it, and the red and black really suit that mood.
