Well all the tracks I have so far are amazing. This album might blow my mind...

I'm afraid I might over listen when I first get it

I've been listening to it pretty consistently for the last two weeks and nah it's pretty hard to kill. There's a lot going on in every song. My plays have obviously slowed down now that the initial omgomfgomfg is over though.

I recently discovered them (Kezia) and I quite like them. The music and lyrics reminded me of Pain Of Salvation, just hardcore.
Is the EP worth getting or should I just wait for the next album?

i think the ep is worth getting, but thats just me.

Kezia is way better, but it's still pretty good.

job for a cowboy did it with genesis really well
and they did it amazingly well with kezia

Job For A Cowboy did a concept album? I didn't even know. Then again, I don't really care for them.

yeah genesis is all about how the devil is born and comes to rule the world. the lyrics for that album are pretty damn sweet, whether you like the music or not.

How the hell can you tell what he's saying with his vocals? That's why I don't like it.

It's really cool to hear the basic progression but they're very evident of the group's youth.

Basically, I map their progress like this:

5th Commandment > Take and Take > Is Anybody There? > Silent Genocide > Asperity of Sin > ACUOS EP > Soft Targets (added to the EP a year later for the re-release, hence why it sounds out of place - it was rush-recorded for a sampler) > Kezia > Fortress blablabla.

The most drastic changes were from the Is Anybody There/Silent Genocide-era hardcore punk songs (Search for the Truth 7") to Asperity of Sin, and then from the EP to Kezia (excluding Soft Targets, which is a great song, but obvious in it's rushed, forced "just because we had to" nature).[/QUOTE]

and the lyrics are online and i think are in the booklet.
look em up online, they're kinda cool. but inderstand what you're saying, he fits a LOT of words into one bar of the song so it is hard to understand anything he's saying.

I just think it's cool to see how they have progressed.

from deathcore to straight up death metal? i thought so too, a lot of people hate em for it, its kinda funny

yeah im hopin fortress is a big progression from kezia, even though they wouldn't have to progress at all and just make new music and it would probably still be amazing.

I just got into PTH. i got kezia in my Xmas DVD and its pretty damn sweet. favorite so far is no stars over bethlehem

That was my favorite at first. Still an awesome song.

I need to listen to the album more. Are their early albums better or worse or similar?
