Who ever sent out the Trench Town Mix Up by The Gladiators should get 67 beautiful virgins when he dies...the Quaran says normaly who'd have to fly a plane into a building or something of that sort to get such a reward but they should make an exception......well anyway I am extremly grateful for who ever uploaded that, it's now my favorite Raggae album. You guys easily have the best mailing list going, keep up the great work.
If you can't get the 67 virgins you may have my first daughter. :) |

A reputable source informed me that you guys have a really awesome mailing list sorta thing going on...would you guys if I added my email onto that? Reggae CD's are like the only types of CDs I buy any more, although I mainly just buy vinyl. So I could most likely contribute as well.

Oh man, just started listening to the Gladiators album and i must say, its undeniably essential roots. But guys last night me and rubbersoul were out at a concert with some local metal/screamo bands that sucked horribly, the scene was pretty lame so we decided to split but to our suprise 'stir it up' begins playing, it was a roots band at a nearby restaurant across the water, we werent set on going in at first until they began to play an incredible version of 'Rollerskates'. We had to go. Ended up getting to see the last 45 minutes of their set, it was incredible. They were called "Roadblock" and i would give anything to hear them again.

:thumb:
that sounds awsome, the only reggae stuff playing around here is Ras Lee at mavericks but its 19+ which sucks for me. And i added some bands to the list which i havnt done little blurbs on, but are just there. So check that out people. EDIT: if anyone knows any bands that are not on the list please tell me and i'll put it on the list. |
