I like seeing the contrast in how people listen to music. If you compare me and Nick, my top 10 goes from 195 to 1764 and his goes from 177 to 472. My top 50 tracks spans from 20 to 73 whilst his is from 7 to 18. A band needs 76 listens to get into my top 50, but only 57 to get into Nick's.
This makes it seem like I listen to more music but Nick has listened to 7000 more songs than me and you need 20 plays to get into his top 300 bands but only 7 for me. It's obvious that I listen to bands and songs intensely while he uses shuffle more. |

I don't like spending hours and hours listening to one band, I get bored, so I spread it out very thinly, hence how Anti-Flag can get into my weekly top ten with me only listening to Die for the Government. Back when I did shuffle (back when I first got Last.fm) My charts looked like this: Top Artists – Week of Mar 20 to Mar 27, 2005 1 Good Clean Fun 4 2 Charles Bronson 3 3 Rudimentary Peni 2 3 ***ück 2 |
I listened to something like 7 hours of the Conet Project this past week, and if you've heard a single track from that, you'd understand what a feat it is to listen to it that much and still retain your sanity.

Hehe.
Discuss Dag Nasty being my number one this week. Who thinks that is they way it should be? |
Never heard them. Perhaps I shall investigate.
Discuss how I just this week found out how amazingly classic "Mommys Little Monster" is, and that's why Social D topped my list. |
Oh God. You are missing out. Buy/download "Can I Say".
|
What does Dag Nasty sound like?
|
Post-Hardcore/Emo. Download Can I Say
