Hey,

Pretty new to the glam metal scene- hired a motley crue dvd, liked it, listened to some Skid Row songs and they are awesome, always loved Bon Jovi.

So now you all get to answer my 2 questions.

1) Any glam metal singers here? Any good exercises I should do for power/range? All the singers are crazy, Sebastian Bach's voice is something that I want to aim for (Not going to get it but aiming high's good)

2) This may seem silly, but I have really thick dark brown hair. I want to get my hair like modern Jon Bon Jovi'ish style or somewhere around shoulder length (or even something like Dave Grohlish). My thick hair seems to be inhibiting me- I'm growing it now, but it seems to thick to get it how these guys have it (Ok so this question isn't really that related to the music but image is important :P)

1) I've been wondering this too. Try Vocalist.org. I've tried to do choir and a load of other things though, my voice just isn't happening.

2) Can you post a picture so I know exactly what you're talking about? But you can thin hair out. Like...go to the hairdresser and ask him to layer and thin it? I'd grow it first then shape it, it seems to work better that way.

The problem with my hair is that it grows up not down. Its quite the boof :\

Vocalist.org seems to do pretty good. I try sing scales and just sing random stuff in my head voice to help also. Would be easier if I could just sing like Sebastian Bach naturally but its not happening. Do you play an instrument?

Yeah, I play guitar which is why I don't give too much of a s[size=2]h[/size]it about my lack of singing voice.

But it would be nice, I might try a little harder.

I can't find a comb to do some backcombing, I'm sad :(

bon jovi's new album was a pleasent suprise to me

Today, I went to the dentist and watched the new Bon Jovi video. The dentist said Jon Bon Jovi was hot. The dentist was a guy. And he was old. It was weird.

I also play guitar, except to me singings always been something I wanted to develop. Got any recordings? Neone here reckon we should get some MSN's to talk?

I just bought a new comb to backcomb my hair :) (and some new concealer because I look fugly at the moment and we can't be having that)

Concealer rocks, it makes you look attractive for £1.29

I need some more makeup (foundation, powder, eyeliner, the works) too, but I can't afford it.

Nah, just standing outside with backcombed hair and more hairspray than the Ozone would like.

Its because I usually spray my hair in my room with the windows closed, which isn't a good idea.

This way I go through 1/2 a big can of hairspray every time I go out :p

I finished dling the 650mb Skid Row/Cindarella/Bon Jovi/Motley Crue concert.

Its awesome. Skid Row put on such a great show.

I'm growing my hair Jon Bon Jovi length in the Always music video/bit longer then nowadays.

I saw Cinderella, Quiet Riot, RATT, and Firehouse a couple months back. Kick *** show. Anyone here like them?

Cinderella and Ratt are two of my favourite bands, I like QR and Firehouse too though.

Have you ever seen them in concert? I met Quiet Riot and Firehouse, got autographs and all that good stuff. Capped off an amazing 4 hour concert.

Why do they hate him? New Rose is a good song. I like Duff's voice.

Yeah, Believe in Me and Beautiful Disease. Both good albums.
