Go for it, but it'll take some work. You've got to decide which bands are going to be involved from different genres like in punk i.e. will Blink (power-pop), rise against (melodic hardcore), mad caddies (ska-punk) bad religion, (punk) etc be involved?

albert_bass 04-03-2005 01:17 PM

Yeah I know. I'll take it like this: I think NOFX could be included but only post So long... because then is when it's something close to pop-punk. Melodic Hardcore is not included. Ska-punk is not included unless it's significantly pop-punk, Bad religion is not included, power-pop is included. Rancid is only included when it comes to ...And out come the wolves and Indestructible, Hmmm... I can't think of more. You can nominate the albums you want, I will take out the ones I consider, and if you don't agree with this: Do it yourself. I think that's about all.

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 04-03-2005 01:22 PM

I think NOFX should be included along with Rancid as i believe pretty much all of their albums are pop-punk, or they have released enoguh of that genre to be labeled it. You could do a list of bands that their includance is debatable and people could say what they think instead of arguing at the time the lists are made

albert_bass 04-03-2005 01:24 PM

Hey, some mod please change the name of my thread to: "Pop-punk top 50 albums": Nominations.

I'm not a blink fan or anything but that 10752z (something like that) must be a real pain when people are trying to talk about them. Probably a joke poster. Ban?

albert_bass 04-05-2005 07:55 AM

He's not a joke poster but I think he sucks mucho penis, I don't think a ban would help and a permanent ban would be excessive, but, I'm not a mod so it's up to you.

albert_bass 04-06-2005 04:03 PM

I don't think someone will bump it but if a mod sees this please close my pop-punk top 50 list: nominations.

Ban Vince for spam plz.

Kif 04-09-2005 03:42 PM

Yeha God, Vince is such a spamwhore!

Such a bad example for the forum

PDWAB 04-10-2005 02:44 AM

Yeah... don't... don't do that anymore. I'm kind of lenient but don't take advantage of it, or else I'll have to be a jerk. Too much spam makes the discussion thread lame.

Kif 04-10-2005 05:55 AM

Speaking of the discussion thread, Vince and I think that it needs to be closed and a new one needs to be made. It's really slow loading for me and him, and even slower when replying. And we both have decent internet connections

Captain Jack Sparrow 04-10-2005 05:55 AM

I haven't experienced any problems with it, and I'm running cable internet which is slower than Vince's.

The discussion thread, lame? It's not possible. Am I right? Am I right? Right? Am I right? In the house, am I right? Am I right?

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=327692

Virus278 04-11-2005 07:28 PM

oh, i guess u guys really don't like it - i'm just saying that was the main reason i came to this forum

Dead Star 04-11-2005 07:32 PM

Its because Joel already closed one today, I dont see much point in opening another.

PDWAB 04-11-2005 09:13 PM

Eh, I'm going to try something. If it works then I can close it without people getting mad.

The_Red_Death 04-11-2005 09:34 PM

Ban this dumbass:

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7494198&postcount=34

For two reasons: One, for bumping an old-*** thread, and two, just for being an idiot.

Or just close the thread.

Agent_Orange 04-12-2005 08:57 AM

Has anyone been doing a news thread since I left? Or did ya'll decide not to have one? I was just thinking about doing one since I havn't the last month or so.
