As far as I know, Pig Destroyer are still grind. |
ok isnt ENT grind? and wat happend to crucifix, violent society, and orchid.

INJECT ME WITH AIDS!!! |
If Varukers are street punk what genre is their album How do you sleep???
Casualties are glue punk if you follow that logic. |
ENT isn't grind.
If Varukers are street punk what genre is their album How do you sleep??? Casualties are glue punk if you follow that logic.
Varukers are street punk, through and through. I've heard majority of their albums, including that one, and never have I even considered the thought of calling 'em crust. Sorry mang, but unless alot more people agree with ye on that, I won't consider. I mean c'mon, they were one of the pioneers of street punk. Oh, and the Casualties just, plain-out, suck. |
Hahahahaha.
|
I just heard some Swallowing S'hit. They are pretty good.
|
Why do grind bands feel the need to have vulgar names? It's starting to get annoying.
|
Because grind is extremity, and alot of it is about pissing people off, or disgusting them.
|
Not all grind is like that. Brutal Truth is a good example. Awesome band, but it doesn't rely on a crazy vulgar name or vulgar lyrics to get attention.
|
Brutal Truth do kick ***. I don't know though dude because ever since I first started listening to grind (****... I'm Dead in seventh grade) it seems that more bands are coming out with just dumb names and a bunch of gore obsessed lyrics I know thats gore-grind but I wish there were more political grind like there was back when it first started in the eighties. Scum is ****ing amazing and my epitomy of grindcore.

thrash crust and grind are sick when it is fast and loud

Dropdead Siege Extreme Noise Terror (crustgrind) ...though all 80's bands, 2 of which still play shows here and there to my knowledge, at least Dropdead I'm sure of. They're playing Pointless Fest, too bad I can't go. :upset: Also, check out Mayday. http://www.maydaythrash.com They're thrash with some grind influence, really good band. |

Yes, but if you'd read my post with more care, you would have noticed the use of the words "alot of". |
thrash crust and grind are sick when it is fast and loud
|
I heard about that. Someone in R/M made a thread on it. I like grind and doom, so I really wanted to go. But sadly, I didn't. :(
|
