Great news for me! Gov't Mule is playing April 13th here, I'm excited for that. I've recently had a sudden love for a lot of the Band's material.

ive heard a few slip songs, they are my friends favorite band. They play alot of shows in my area, i think im gonna check one out. what are some good songs to hear?

There recorded stuff is much more interesting, mainly because most of their live bootlegged stuff lacks there best line up.

Yeah look out for those, and check out Bela Fleck and the Flecktones I just got into them they're pure talent.

Funky Meters aren't really a Jam Band. And Jack Johnson and Karl Denson are arguable.

awhile ago i mentioned blue floyd, the pink floyd blues cover band headed by the lateallen woody, with the guitarist from the black crowes and matt abts on drums. i just found out they are back with a new singer. If anyone is in the southeast Pa/ east jersey area you should come check them out at the Pink Floyd fest.

EDIT: berry oakley is in the band also

Black Crowes guitarists: Rich Robinson, Audley Freed, etc

And I strongly doubt Berry Oakley is in that band. It'd be a little hard for him.

I saw moe. last night. They were frickin sweet. It was the first time I had seen them. Excellent show.

My friend got me hooked on Sound Tribe Sector 9, I don't really like them too well but they're ok. I perfer DJ Logic over them.

I saw Sountribe Sector 9 live at Toad's they put on a great live show.

How did none of us mention Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead or Phish?

1.) Jimi Hendrix is not a Jam Band.
2.) You're wrong. We mentioned both of those numerous amounts of times.
