Anyone heard of Every New Day?

Feel The Darkness 01-11-2008 01:51 AM
music is tight. lyrics are stupid.
hahahahahahaha

yeh, i've been trying to work with him on that, he's not the most well spoken person around, but most of the songs on the demo were already made by the time i joined the band.

I'm gonna be working with him to write any new songs to come, so let's hope you're into those a bit more. haha

:smash:

You should go anyways because Starkweather is the best.

Starkweather is pretty tight. I just downloaded their album, Crossbearer, like 2 weeks ago and I'm digging it.

Do you know your guitarist's setup?

Feel The Darkness 01-15-2008 11:31 PM
Do you know your guitarist's setup?
haha, dude our whole setup is nothing.

our entire recording set-up was:
cheap drumset
hartke 120w practice bass amp
practice guitar amp (not sure the brand/wattage)
Shure 8track recorder
16 channel mixer
one low noise/one class a fet condenser mics

that's it. we DI'd both amps to the board, along w/ the drum mics (low noise/class a/bass drum). then 2 outputs to recorder, and back to the board for playback through small PA.

our drummer doesn't have his own drumset. our guitarist only has a cheap guitar and a 15w practice amp. i only have my bass and amp. our singer lets us practice in the shed in his backyard.

haha

DIY!

Let's Chop Cats! 01-15-2008 11:42 PM

hahahahahaha word. I couldn't tell if he ether didn't have the best setup or he just didn't know how to get a good sound.

hahaha, naw. our drummer's a music major, and has a damn good ear. he's the one who was working our sound, mostly, so he did with what he could. haha

this is his other music:
