Chris....pretty good? you guess?

And Shane, which RJ is in Seeker? And yeah, David rules, but I'm not so sure about the other dudes.

cbmartinez 12-07-2007 12:55 PM

They weren't spectacular live honestly, but they had some cool songs. They played Sic Transit, Play Crack The Sky, Tommy Gun, Jesus Christ, Sowing Season, Degausser, Limosuine, Luca, You Won't Know

NewKindofArmy03 12-07-2007 02:23 PM

My friend went last night and the setlist was all of TDAGARIM and Sic Transit, Tommy Gun, Jaws Theme Swimming, and the No Seatbelt Song.

RJ Truth of Die Young and Finer Truth.

br3ad_man 12-07-2007 08:47 PM

I saw Brand New for free and it was probably the best free show I've seen. I might see them again at a festival in January if no one else is playing at the time.

chips88 12-08-2007 01:40 AM

J was with me, Seeker was awesome live the first time, but I heard there was incense and robes at the 2nd show? haha. anyway, not bad, good live show, good dudes, backed hard?

Got one of these today.

Red-to-black, venom lack; red-to-yellow, kill a fellow, amirite?

Let's Chop Cats! 12-08-2007 07:10 PM

i hate snakes much like indiana jones hates snakes.

NewKindofArmy03 12-08-2007 07:17 PM

If red touches black, it's OK, Jack. If red touches yellow, you're a dead fellow

Flagjacket 12-08-2007 08:04 PM

i learned about that once a year in elementary school even though I live in Michigan and we don't even have snakes.

AndreTheHyena 12-08-2007 08:08 PM

My dad was a biology student, and had been collecting reptiles since he was a kid, so there were always snakes around growing up. It was useful to be raised by someone who was well-informed, and not just a snake-collecting goofball.

He also has a permit to raise endangered snapping turtles, no kidding.

Flagjacket 12-08-2007 08:14 PM

A snapping turtle knocked over a birdfeeder down the street from us and ate the birdseed and then we trapped it in a recycle bin but it gout out over night.

AndreTheHyena 12-08-2007 08:17 PM

I doubt it was an actual "snapping turtle" if it was eating birdseed. They're predators, and they only feed underwater.

These dudes are the best, they come into my work and talk about snakes forever. This dude the other day was trying to give away an albino burmese python and a red tail boa for free but I didn't want my first snake to be something that gets that big.

Or one that could possibly eat your cat.

cbmartinez 12-09-2007 04:43 AM

Flagjacket 12-09-2007 07:52 AM

cbmartinez 12-09-2007 01:08 PM

my bad, I guess I was way too drunk last night

Let's Chop Cats! 12-09-2007 07:09 PM

Is it weird that I listen to Blind Guardian when I fall asleep? coincidence that I have dreams where I'm in LOTR?

santi3hg 12-09-2007 07:47 PM

I would expect that if I did the same.

Must have some kick *** dreams if it isn't dreams about Frodo.

Let's Chop Cats! 12-09-2007 07:56 PM

Scott, I just wanted to say, lol.
