Phil Anselmo yelling at a 15 year old kid, what a fucking scumbag
Oooh, real tough.
If my mind could be displayed in video format it would resemble this... http://youtube.com/watch?v=LTR-tePa0Bg
Legitmately tough.
"Overhyped"? That album came out in 1990. Do you understand how ahead of its time it is? If it doesn't grow on you, then it's your loss. EDIT: Also, what were you expecting? A standard hardcore band? Crucial breakdowns?
By "overhyped", I meant when everyone in this forum was talking about them a few days ago. And no, I don't understand how it's ahead of its time, and I don't know what I was expecting, hence my saying that perhaps I didn't fully appreciate it because I lacked a proper reference point. Christ, I swear. Aside from four or five dudes in these parts, there are so many complete chodes. |
Pantera sucks
Phil Anselmo sucks Stupid racist douchebags suck The end Also, if you guys want to hate on Texas so much then don't suck these dudes dicks, honestly, they're what give Texas a bad image. |
I would never say anything disrespectful in the same room as Phil.
Well said. |

I wasn't trying to be a dick, but calling that band "overhyped" just pissed me off. |
Holy **** you should be slapped
Not only do Phil Anselmo and "scumbag" not belong in the same sentence but the kid was throwing bottles at him and the band. On a related note youtube Phil Anselmo.... hillarity for days.
Although I highly doubt a 15 year old kid was throwing beer bottles at the band, I'll say for argument's sake that he was. Making a ****ing 15 year old kid get down on his "****ing knees and apologize" is just despicable. |
C'mon Chris, the kid was 15, not 10. He's not thaat young
|
I just don't see how any of you could watch a video of some 40 year old dude screaming at a kid half of his size about disrespect and how he should get on his knees and apologize, in front of a huge crowd cheering him on and be like "FUCK YEAH KID GOT WHAT HE DESERVED."
|
So you were there and checked his ID? Or okay the guy that filmed it must have. So you know he's 15? Because unless you have some really cool ACME patented supergoggles to see the kid well enough in that grainy, shaky *** video I'm dumbfounded at how you can tell he's 15. Even if he was... its at a show where alcohol is being sold. The kid could have very easily gotten a hold of a bottle one way or another.
Or you're right. The kid wasn't throwing bottles and was 15. Phil Anselmo likes to grab random 15 year olds out of his audience and humiliate them for the **** of it. |
jesus
suck is dick some more it's too bad the kid didn't just shoot him, too |
LOL
Man Scott, you're right. I mean even though it looks like a teenage kid, I mean, it could be like a midget or something. I mean, in that case, yeah he deserved it man. My point is, it's a kid, and the kid deserves to be kicked out if he did what was said, not put up on stage and be told to get on his knees in front of a cheering audience. |

Obviously he's most likely young, I'm just curious how you landed on the magical innocent number of 15. He could be 18, he could be older and just short (c'mon man, look who you're talking to) my point is you don't know so stop trying to paint him out to be this angelic child martyr. Regardless of whether he was 14, 15, 18, 30, he knew what he was doing and considering he obviously went to see Down he must know something about those guys and that Phil Anselmo is a nutcase.
Regardless, I don't see the problem. If that happened anywhere else, concert or otherwise, he would have been lucky to walk away on his own accord. He obviously felt safe enough in a crowd of hundreds and behind a huge barricade to act like a moron, and he just got a (hillarious) reality check. I mean we're not talking about the government torturing prisoners or police brutality here. We're talking about one dude, ****ing with (and almost hurting) another dude, and JUST getting called out. Big whoop. |
I think Phil and the boy are both jackasses.

If that kid is in his teens, he doesn't deserve to be told to get on his knees and humiliated in front of a crowd of people. I don't think anyone deserves to have that done to them, nor do I think it should matter if there's a crowd of people there. But like I said, as far as the situation we're dealing with, a "person" who looks like a kid and is definitely half the size of Anselmo was told to get down on his knees and that **** aint right. |
i wish a huge black dude would knock phil out for his racist rants
|
what about the time OLC gang raped a 13 year old for stealing a beanie from the merch box.

There's some tension in these past few pages in the Hardcore Community Thread.

sorry thats what you guys hoped for...but its not what you got
Seen 'em live, yet? They def got that vibe. It might not be an exact replica, but that's actually a good thing. They're just making good hardcore that has similar elements to a lot of damn good bands. Keep in mind this is their demo, and these guys have a lot of potential to make their mark. |
