just for the sake of experimentation...
go to your browsers control bar and hit [View], there should be something in there about [Encoding], under that heading should be another suboption that says either [More] and look for [Japanese]. I just want to see if anyone can unlock it, or if they have to have a specific plugin.

I can speak a little japanese and write a bit in English, just standard phrases. I always get things mixed up though. French and Welsh I can speak pretty well, Japanese is hard to pick up though...

Hey dude. I'm using XP with Western-European [ISO] coding. To allow non-english encoding in XP you need to install stuff off the driver disk which I cannot find.

Did you try the directions above, though.

I'm just curious if you can at least see it.
I have XP and I had to go on the internet to download the package.
Because you need it to be able to type in a foreign language, but I'm not sure that you need it to see the foreign language.

It doesn't like me; asks for a disk.

Haven't looked through those yet, only got the mag yesterday after a long and frantic search through all the shops. The lessons on studio mic'ing and stuff have been pretty cool i thought.

I believe the correct particle for that situation would be "ga" instead of "wa" otherwise instead of saying "[someone] is skilled at japanese" you are saying "Japanese language is skilled".

It's cool, though. I didn't know that so many people could read some hiragana.
