He get onto you because of your username?
Nah. He made a comment about "How'd that guy get stars?," after I said something about liking Hopesfall, in a thread about bands similar to Hopesfall. I neg repped him, but I guess he does that kind of thing a lot, so now I'm trying to get back on his good side so he won't take shots at me anymore, and I can post peacefully in Hardcore/Emo.

Which reminds me, I wonder if my name change request was denied, because it's been like 3 days.

Anyway, I'm off. Talk to you guys later.

Jom 10-20-2005 09:01 PM

I'm doing well, guys. Nice to read that you guys are doing alright.

I had a midterm today for my history class. Five essays in seventy-five minutes. This put me at a disadvantage because:

1. I have terrible handwriting, so in order to have legible handwriting, I slow down.

2. The class is really freakin' hard.

3. The prof sucks because he's a ridiculously hard grader.

4. Even though I am a master BSer, he will likely see through it in at least two essays.

Otherwise, life is good. I'm going to be making one of the best desserts ever tomorrow for fun.

If you guys are interested, let me know, and I'll type out the recipe for you. It seriously takes three minutes to make.

Good night everyone.

DJ Ducksauce 10-20-2005 09:05 PM

I hate essays.

What dessert? Mudpie is one of my favorites.

Night Brian.

Same here, except i press hard when i write, so slowing down gives may hand horribble cramps.

EDIT: I have school tomorrow, and im tired, so im leaving too. Nite.

I would be, actually.

Just got back from a Finch show. Fricken sweet. I even got a drumstick, setlist, and a pick.

Nice. I saw Minus the Bear over Finch, but I still really want to see them. Nice array of items too.

Tjebby 10-20-2005 09:16 PM

First time I have ever gotten something. I was happy. They started out with "Casket" I thought i was going to spooge.

Finch is a lot of fun live.

Which remindes me, my band is playing Stay With Me at a gig on saturday.

Which remindes me, I have to learn the lyrics in the verse.

SHIT!

Definite Jomness. I couldn't care less about how DBJ gets e-fellated :)

BELOW IS THE RECIPE FOR WHAT I THINK IS ONE OF THE BEST DESSERTS EVER. OF COURSE, MY OPINION IS BIASED, SO KINDLY STFU IF YOU DON'T THINK SO

:p

Alright, here's what you need:

One 13x9 dish, or something similar
Mini ice cream sandwiches (the Garfield ones from Meijer are best)
Cool Whip
Hershey's Hard Shell Topping (this is a must)
M&M Minis

Right, here's what you do:

Take the 13x9 dish, and layer the bottom with the mini ice cream sandwiches. Make sure it is flat.

Take some Cool Whip, and lay it on top of the first layer of ice cream sandwiches.

Next, take the Hard Shell topping and pour it over the Cool Whip.

Then, add another layer of mini ice cream sandwiches.

Next, add another layer of Cool Whip.

Top with M&M Minis.

Stick in freezer for a few hours.

Remove glory from freezer.

Cut with knife.

Place piece on plate.

Take fork and eat glory.

Chew, swallow, sigh in content.

Oh man, I could cream myself if I didn't know how to stop myself from orgasming over food :p

I'll post pictures tomorrow while/after I make it :)

DJ Ducksauce 10-20-2005 09:21 PM

Jom, that sounds really good. Kind of like mud pie too I guess.

Jom 10-20-2005 09:22 PM

Gotta love them mommas.

What do you call the dessert anyways?

Me too, hence how I mastered it. But imagine being one of those kids who always ate BK and Wendy's growing up, then getting cooked a good meal by their gf. I can see a guy just losing control there ;)

It has no name. But it's probably the equivalent of a freezing cold ejaculation in your mouth if you're into that sort of thing. Can't say that I am, though, hence me using the term "probably" in my sentence :p

In my recipe, I kept calling it "glory."

Whoever has a creative name for it, I'm all eyes.

Good Lord, if I ate fast food everyday as a kid, I would be 300+ pounds and be really, really unhealthy.

<3 my Mom.

That'd be me. I always have food out. Very rarely do I eat something home cooked.

"Bobby Bouchet, don't you be eatin' that "glory, it's the devil."

I eat at home most of the time. I eat out maybe a couple of times a month.

How lame is it that I actually taught myself how to cook so that I wouldn't have to eat my mom's cooking?

I made myself teryaki spicy chicken tonight.

Yesterday, I made my uber-spicy-oniony tacos, and I added teryaki sauce too it, because I was really, really tired. Ended up tasting really fucking good.

If Gaby ends up not coming to my place for Thanksgiving, you can come instead I guess. You'll cream yourself. My mom is a professional cook :)

Jom 10-20-2005 09:30 PM

Don't get me wrong, we go out to dinner once a week or so, but there's this family back home that always is bringing home fast food for dinner across the street from me. Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's... if I ate that stuff everyday, I'd be dead right now, I think :(

My family usually goes to restaurants, not fast food places.

The exception is when I was in sports... Friday nights, we'd just go through drive-thru to get something.

Permanent Solution 10-20-2005 09:32 PM

Oh man, good times...

I just went to put my ice cream away, and then I came back over here...and I'm thinking, and I go back and open my microwave and of course I put the ice cream in there and not the freezer :-\

DJ Ducksauce 10-20-2005 09:33 PM

All we pretty much have over here is fast food. A few restaurants though. Lots of Chinese.

Well I'm out.

I've done that before backpacking. And then eaten it anyways because food is food when you're backpacking :-\

DJ Ducksauce 10-20-2005 09:37 PM

Fusty walri (my plural of walrus) always make me laugh.

Burnt pizza is good, as long as it's not too burnt.
