botb 08-03-2008 02:06 PM

i need to check out embrace the end. im dling the album with the song your named after mappy lawl. we normally agree on good deathcore, so seeing as you think its good enough to name yourself after, i need to hear it.

beans 08-03-2008 02:07 PM

it seems you like every -core band, just curious, which ones don't you like?
(besides WTC)

beans 08-03-2008 02:10 PM

please say WOP

adb 08-03-2008 02:16 PM

nah he likes them I think, they're not terrible its just their vocalist is a huge wigger. They do have a few really good songs, if you take out the tacked-on breakdowns

I hate people like that, its just annoying. I know I shouldn't judge them based on the way the singer dresses but they aren't good enough to overcome my strong opinions about that.

beans 08-03-2008 02:20 PM

i dont give a **** how they dress or look, their music is just boring as ****

sup dan?

Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 02:21 PM

True dat.

Chillin at work, hows it goin?

beans 08-03-2008 02:23 PM

its goin good, finally my weekend so i hung out with some friends last night and tonight im taking my mom out for her birthday, taking her to go see TDK hahaha

Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 02:26 PM

Oh man I'm jealous! I haven't even seen it yet. I can't get a babysitter!

I don't really like the new Carnifex album as much as their previous one.

beans 08-03-2008 02:27 PM

yeah i wrote a sound off for it, i really dont think it does anything new, the title track and in coalesce with filth and faith are pretty good songs but everything else is just meh
there were some good songs off of dead in my arms

adb 08-03-2008 02:28 PM

you have a kid DB? I didn't know that

beans 08-03-2008 02:29 PM

Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 02:29 PM

Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 02:29 PM
yeah he's happily married and plays in a very good band as well
Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 03:00 PM

Yeah hopefully we'll get back into things once my drummer gets back from tour next week.

beans 08-03-2008 04:49 PM

awesome, yeah sounds good, i have your ep on my computer
keep bringing the juns

Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 04:54 PM

I can't wait to record "Junbringer".

beans 08-03-2008 04:57 PM

is that seriously a song?

Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 04:57 PM

yeah I wrote it. It's kind of a self mockery song. Its hilarious.

beans 08-03-2008 04:58 PM

hahaha is it all just juns?
better be with that name

Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 04:59 PM

Yeah the chorus is a single jun rung out while the drummer just blasts as fast as he can and we sing "We are the ones (we are the ones) that bring the f*cking juns (the juns)" And it has a thrash riff verse and a super slow hardcore breakdown at the end that we do three times at halftime each time.

beans 08-03-2008 05:02 PM

 i wanna hear that before anyone else

Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 05:06 PM

I'll try to post it as soon as we record it, but we haven't planned it all out yet.

beans 08-03-2008 05:07 PM

i got ya, your recordings sound really good too, how much at the end of the day did you guys end up spending on the recording process for the three songs?

Dimmu Burger 08-03-2008 05:09 PM

it was 5 songs actually, and I'm not sure how much it was cause I joined after it was recorded. Probably a good 3K at least, cause Drew Maziurek(sp?) recorded it, and he is good.

beans 08-03-2008 05:10 PM

so did you track your bass? or did someone else play bass on the recording?

2muchket! 08-03-2008 05:12 PM

£200ish weekend session probably in October/November for my band. The bloke whos studio it is knows his stuff and his quite sound. Hes interviewed Killswitch Engage as well which is quality.
