I'm getting a 20GB creative Zen for Christmas, DT will be one of the first things on there :D
Lucky. I got an iPod instead and it has been nothing but headaches. Home work has been killer for the past month, but the last two days I haven't gone to bed before 2 in the morning. I think the teachers are trying to see whcih kid snaps first. At least I have DT to make it somewhat enjoyable. |
I've never had a problem with mine. Also, I think they are the easiest to use out of the hard disk MP3 players. I love the little guy. |

Im on my third iPod. I guess Im just unlucky. The first one got fried during a thunder storm (it was charging while it slept). Not apple's fault, but the warranty was up so I had to buy a new one. The second one just stopped working and Apple said the couldnt fix it again. Im on my third and about a month after getting it, I heard that the Zen is much better. It is very easy to use, but I have never used any other. |
No they don't they are higher than saxaphones.
The guy who plays it is called Berlinger or something I think.
clarinets play in the same clef/range as saxes. unless it's a bass clarinet or baritone sax, which is obviously lower. take it from a guy who's played in orchestras his whole life |
the ipod nanos have the shortest battery life.
i ran through SFAM and 6DOIT and it was in the red :upset: |

Watched the commentary on LSFNY last night.
Laughed at the mockery of LaBrie's accent, everytime he said "aboot" and the various ass and balls jokes. 'twas cool and very interesting too...yo. |
I'm gonna put that on my Christmas list too.
|

I have a 30GB Creative Zen Xtra, its not quite as sleek as an iPod, but was a great purchase, much cheaper than a similar capacity iPod. |
Yeah, but it's the size of a cassette player...
|
At least I still don't use a portable CD player...
|

At least....at least....at....:upset: . |
hey cds are still cool!!
|
Yep, I wish I had a working CD player at all.
Mine is terrible, won't play at all sometimes, and it has to be at a certain volume otherwise the speakers don't work properly. |

I love CD players. The only reason I don't use mine constantly is because I'd spend hundreds on batteries.
I have a Nano. :D |
Could somebody explain the "Metropolis '96" thing that the band were talking about on LSFNY?
|
that was when they started playing around with the idea of a sequel to metropolis part one. they had some material together, but not all of it made the cut when they actually recorded the album. i think a bootleg of some of it got out at one point too.
|
I see, has anyone got the wonderful sounding Tokyo '95 bootleg?
the one with the maiden covers and the acoustic wait for sleep? |
No, I have the MOP live in Barcelona bootleg and NOTB bootleg.

This one sounds magnificent. |
Is that the one where they had all the guest people like Barney Greenway and the guy from Yes???
|
There's a one with Adler and Bruce Dickinson.
and there's also the performance of WDADU from '04 with Derek Sherinan and the guy with the wierd name I can't remember. NP-A change of seasons |

Listening to Live Scenes today, I can't imagine how tired they all would have been by the end...then they had to do LTL....and THEN play all of ACOS.
Doesn't it say on the DVD that Portnoy had to go to hospital after of something? |
That night was two sets.
Is the a mind beside itself trilogy+ learning to live not the encore to one set and ACOS the encore to the other? I'm sure a couple of bandmembers are wearing different shirts and JP has a different guitar, I'm sure of that. Yeah, Portnoy was Ill as hell and nearly had to go to hospital afterwords. |
Well you get the whole thing on the CD so I'm not sure. They definatly say on the DVD that they did 2 shows, but I don't know if they were both put on the CD and DVD. At Wolverhapton they changed clothing and what-not at the interval so... i dunno. Never thought it was to shows combined.
|
I just thought, since ACOS isn't on the original VHS, and the total time of AMBI and LIL is around the same as ACOS, that would be the most likely explanation
 at Labrie "sorry aboot the short set" |
 at Labrie "sorry aboot the short set"
Canadian accent intended? |
