Wooooooooooot thanks!
Dudefest was f'ucking amazinggggggggggggggg.
Best set?
Comadre. Hewhocorrupts in a close second. Every band I saw was good, though. Pig Destroyer tore the place up.
God dayum. Wish I could've been there.
Sadly didn't make it to Dudefest this year. I heard Daitro put on a show for the ages.

Yeah, it was nuts. The only thing that sucked about their set was that they had to play the upstairs stage, and the room was made entirely out of wood, so everything echoed and was SO F'UCKING LOUD. I left during their last song because HWC was getting ready to play, and my ears were killing me. Ampere played the same stage and they were 10 times louder than Daitro, haha. |
How was In The Face of War?
you guys like Bloody Phoenix? http://myspace.com/bloodyphoenix1
their self titled ep rips. not like the stuff on the myspace, betterrr also, have you guys heard the new 2007 insect warfare demo? it's pretty sick too |
Bloody Phoenix is pretty good, and I haven't heard the IW demo but I am fucking excited as hell for the new album.

They were ok I guess. I've never been a huge fan of theirs. The singer talked too much in between songs. He wouldn't shut up about keeping it positive and everything and it got annoying. They played a cover of Everlong though, that was lawl. |
Increase the peace!

Not really grind but any of you dudes dig Sadville? Sort of a more doomy/metallic His Hero Is Gone.
Sadville is awesome. Didn't you whore them awhile back? I'm pretty sure you told me about them.
Yeah, I love to whore them. Local guys, they have an LP out on Inkblot. I saw them the other night and they were so damn good, as was the other bands they played with, one of them you might of heard of Justin since they are from PHilly, Hulk Smash ring any bells?
Yeah, I know of Hulk Smash. I hate their music...I'm just not into indie. Gets on my nerves.
Dude, they were so fucking good, what the fuck? I wouldn't call that indie, it was really heavy just with a fuckload of trippy elements to it. But to each his own I guess.
They don't sound very heavy to me. I dunno.
I don't know they reminded me of Gospel at points, but just way more crushing and crazy.
Maybe I need to give them another listen.

Anyone dig? |
Didn't like it at all. Pretty typical Metal Blade crap.

The Ocean rules.
