****, this is on page 4

just posting to get it back on the first page

RavenousMetalist87 10-17-2004 11:02 PM
Destruction are ****ing awesome. I'm listening to Eternal Dev. right now. Awesome ****e.

Metal Discharge, is a pretty decent album, although it lacks what anitchrist before it had, in intensity and general catchiness.
Their cover of Whiplash and Killers are awesome though :D

I just took the time to listen to most of Terrible Certainty, and I love it a whole lot. It's the kind of sound I want to acheive a bit.

However, when your stuck in a band who's other guitarist just plays only "lead" and no rhythm, and wants to you be rhythm while he is way out of control, you have nothing better to do that just to listen to him show off.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-18-2004 04:11 AM

anybody heard any Dekapitator?

LordDargon 10-18-2004 06:15 AM

We will destroy...you will obey!

I've been looking for that for decades, never can find it.

DimebagDarrell 10-18-2004 06:51 AM

Just heard a song by "Visitor" they arent actually that bad they remind me of another band but i cant think who it is at the minute im thinking Anthrax but im not sure.

DimebagDarrell 10-18-2004 11:26 AM

What the hell!! another deth line up change!

Drummer NICK MENZA Out Of MEGADETH, EIDOLON's SHAWN DROVER Steps In

Drummer Nick Menza has been replaced in the lineup for the upcoming MEGADETH tour, according to a posting on MEGADETH's web site. In his place will be Shawn Drover (EIDOLON). 'We look forward to the upcoming tour with Shawn and wish Nick best of luck in his next endeavor,' the posting adds. Shawn joins brother Glen (EIDOLON, ex-KING DIAMOND) on guitar and James MacDonough (ex-ICED EARTH) on bass, alongside mainman Dave Mustaine.

MEGADETH's 'Blackmail the Universe Tour' will kick off October 23 in Reno, NV. EXODUS will join the trek on October 25 in Anaheim, CA. Also appearing on the bill will be EARSHOT

Arise 10-18-2004 11:34 AM

^^^

Hmm,come to think of it, regardless of what you think of the music, there's really not much Megadeth left in that lineup, is there? It should really be Mustaine & Friends

DimebagDarrell 10-18-2004 12:55 PM

JMetallica 10-19-2004 01:59 AM

Each to their own. Both fairly good records though, in their own right.

Awesome band, Sabbat.Very unknown and underrated band. What album have you heard?

clown_phobia 10-19-2004 04:57 AM

sabbat = black sabbath????

is rust in peace the place to start with megadeth?

ArcLite 10-19-2004 05:01 AM

No, Sabbat is a different band than Sabbath. And yes, Rust in Peace is a good starter for Megadeth, probably the best.

 I suppose it's like Death and Chuck Shulidener (curse these hard to spell surnames!) he made different musos on nearly every record, but kept the name Death.

Arise 10-19-2004 09:48 AM

****! I just got KIMBABIG in the mail, and "These Boots" ain't on it! Doom on you CDon, for not selling the remixed version of the album!

DimebagDarrell 10-19-2004 10:40 AM

you aint missing much its mainly all bleeped out

Arise 10-19-2004 10:44 AM
you aint missing much its mainly all bleeped out
That's odd. Cuz I've got a Mp3 of it thats uncensored. Thats why I assumed it was included on the original album

SLATANIC-666 10-19-2004 12:33 PM

Ive always wondered what that cover of 'These boots' is like obviously having never heard it and by the sounds of it, it's very different , lyrically, to the nancy sinatra version(UNDERSTATEMENT) so tell me what it's like. some example of lyrics etc.
