[QUOTE=Frankie;13493426]You n00bs should try slap bass sometime. Untold is the pain. As is playing fingers and playing Iron Maiden.

Oh, please. I've done both. Ok, Harris style gallops can cause some pain, but slap bass? The only way I can see how you'd hurt yourself playing slap is if you have bad slap technique and keep your wrist rock solid rather than fluid. I used to play bass, too.

Neither hurt as much as twatting your thumb or slapping your thigh with a drum stick hit with hard force.

2muchket! 10-23-2006 08:25 AM

Nah not bad technique just lack of concentration.

GurS 10-23-2006 08:29 AM

You mean, like, missing the strings and slapping the fretboard? yeh, that could hurt.

Jev 10-23-2006 10:49 AM

I got a string stuck in my finger by playing so fast that it broke.

yeah.

I dunno if I should get a pizza or a kebab in, or go for a subway for my dinner.

Help me out in my dilemma :(

Jev 10-23-2006 11:11 AM

I'd go for Pizza, that's the tastiest.

So usualy, on the way home, we get the 167 bus in manchester at 4:30, get into heywood for say 5ish, and we get home for 5:30.

Which is good. Today we finished at 4, went shopping till 5:50, then got the brand new X35 bus, and it took us 25 minutes to get into bury, then 5 into heywood, BRILLIENT! it was well good, that bus is my new best mate.

Unless i have any other offers.

OMG, the North west tonight team are doing a piece at a music shop right next to my uni

I once had a string break so violently that it broke into my hands and cut me with two dots close together and it looked like i'd been bitten by a snake

Untitled 10-23-2006 01:25 PM

GurS 10-23-2006 01:44 PM

I burnt my hand today.

We needed these things to dry at uni, so me and my mate took them into the tiolet and put them under the hand dryer.

We kept turning it on, 10/15 minutes later the heat from it was imence, and the moter sounded to be burning, and it burnt my hand a little, so we gave up.
