illmitch 09-01-2009 09:26 PM

weezer crank out deliciously flavorful pieces of poppy goodness

if you don't like weezer you don't like having fun

RetiredAt21 09-01-2009 09:26 PM

I don't like Weezer, either. I'm just not really into that kind of music.

Bleekill 09-01-2009 09:26 PM

I liked them when I was ten. Maybe their earlier stuff is alright but I haven't listened in so long.

idk im listening to the blue album

Jaundice 09-01-2009 09:28 PM

The Blue Album isn't as relentless as Pinkerton but it's still pretty outrageously cruel

have you gotten to the last track yet? I guarantee you'll never be happy again after hearing it

only in dreams is the greatest song everrrrrrrrrrrrrr when you're 13

used to listen to it every night and cry myself to sleep :(

Jaundice 09-01-2009 09:31 PM

You're a machine if Weezer doesn't tear you up emotionally. Just saying.

TimJim 09-01-2009 09:32 PM

i listen to them when theyre on the radio. and since i mostly plug in my iPod in the car

illmitch 09-01-2009 09:32 PM

i guess i spent my emotional tearing up this morning listening to bright eyes

Meatplow 09-01-2009 09:32 PM

[QUOTE=Jaundice;17482832]lol what the hell are you talking about

it depends how you interpret it I spose

people just like to listen to the "cool sounds" sometimes rather then feel any emotional quality from the music itself or even the lyrics

a girl I know likes to dance to The Cure and Nine Inch Nails I pointed out how depressing they can be and she's like oh you are such an old man

Bleekill 09-01-2009 09:35 PM

My fave song in 8th grade was hashpipe by weezer. Thats about the only song i want to recall from the band.

iarescientists 09-01-2009 09:35 PM

yeah but seriously weezer isn't that bleak

they remind me of fisher-prices my first pavement

Jaundice 09-01-2009 09:38 PM

NIN and Joy Division are the type of things I put on when I want to listen to something fun and dance.

Neutral Milk Hotel and Weezer are the only bands I've ever listened to that I found to have any genuine emotional value.
