Good stuff

Although, I worked out that just the neck & body was like cheaper than a fully-kitted out strat (but that doesn't take into account the hardware, so it's probably more expensive overall)
I was just looking on ebay, theres a ebay store thing selling a PRS style body for like £50, and a PRS neck, for the same, and the neck has all the birds on. I thaught that would be pretty cool to do.

Actully, i might just make a guitar without the effects in it, like PRS stylie, as i cant afford a real one.

GurS 10-20-2006 06:37 PM

You could if you pimped yourself out to Belgian accountants.

Untitled 10-20-2006 06:41 PM

Pass.

GurS 10-20-2006 06:42 PM

Well, guess it'll have to be the self-built PRS-stylee knockoff, then :)

Untitled 10-20-2006 06:54 PM

Or save up for a PRS, but tbh, im a bassist, i want a crapy guitar to piss about on, unless i made a muse-esk band, where i would wanna do guitar, but large amounts of money go to bass.

I think im going to go bed. Night.

GurS 10-20-2006 08:42 PM

Aw, my mate got knocked out of Make me a Supermodel. Shame for him, but I'll be surprised if he doesn't get a career out of this - either presenting on TV on some small show, or, well, his band's got lots of publicity on the program, so I reckon they could very very well land a record deal.

Patrick O))) 10-21-2006 04:28 AM

Who's this?

GurS 10-21-2006 06:57 AM

Jono, from "Make me a supermodel" on channel five. Except, of course, he got knocked out last night.

Mexican Bandito 10-21-2006 07:02 AM

I'm I the only feeling like college is the crappest way to spend your life post-school. I didn't think I could get a worse batch of teachers than at my last school. But FFS the ones at the college are fuc'king ponceified wank stains.

Mexican Bandito 10-21-2006 12:53 PM

I feel like that too, I absolutly hate college/the teachers/the actual place everything about it sucks.

I just keep reminding myself that it's a stepping stone to get somewhere better, although right now I'm not so sure where :(

sucks being young! :(

2muchket! 10-21-2006 12:58 PM

If it weren't for my mates and atleast 1 of my teachers being an excellent tecaher I'd leave. But I need to get qualified if I want to go into law :(

Mexican Bandito 10-21-2006 01:06 PM

Two of my are in the same classes, we have a laugh but it's just not fun.
I take 3 subjects but two are with the same teacher (which is really confusing too because both subjects are pretty alike and have the same unit/chaper names, even she gets mixed up!) - whos pretty crap and just reads from powerpoint for 3 hours at a time and doesn't really teach. Then there's math;the teacher says stuff like 'oh my class this morning kept pointing out all the mistakes I was making :wtf:  and she just zooms through pages and pages of work at a time not letting you take one thing in.
Theres nothing to do inbetween classes so I just go home then come back intime for more boredom.

/end of rant

Squirrel 10-21-2006 01:11 PM

Dropping out of uni is heavily on the back burner for me sometimes, and increasingly often.

Friggin hate having to re-take GCSE maths. My tutor is the biggest nob end ever. Bot my psychology teachers are allrite and one of my history teachers is ok. My Law teacher is propa legend tho'. However as for the people. I've got like a good group of mates theres about 20 of us who are pretty tight. But most other people there are either scene kids or trendies who listen to panic! @ the disco FFS.

Jev 10-21-2006 01:31 PM

How comes you're retaking?

What did you get at GCSE?

2muchket! 10-21-2006 01:41 PM

But i've got Key Skills english and maths, a GNVQ in ICT (equiv. to 6 B GCSE grades), and if I complete this year i'll have the equivelent to 3 A Levels
