just got an external hard drive, says its windows ready already so i figure its ntfs already

is there anything i shud do befor ei load it wit stuff, format it, partition it etc... never used one before on my own system... its mainly jsut to back up all my music sessions and files and folders, photos etc...

or can i just drag my whole HDD on it, its 250gb and ive about 100gb on my current HDD

maybe a 200gb partition then 50gb for other ****

The specialist modules I'm gonna be taking in just over a year's time will be some kinda digital thing and some kinda telecoms thing. Would love to give you more detail but sadly not much more is available :P

That sounds pretty bitchin though dude, us engineers do get some mint module titles - I've got 'Machine Vision' this year coming XD

Hope the UI got a bit of a re-jig for the latest version, really don't like the fact that every not that you put in extends the same bar rather than shifts excess notes into the next bar (which sibelius has been able to do for years)

i would suggest writing your stuff down in some form (i say guitar pro just because thats what i use) but its just good having your stuff written so you can go back and mess with old stuff. when im in a rut i go through all my guitarpros and start messing around and almost always i come across something i can vibe with atm and start creating things. you wouldnt happen to listen to yes and/or rush would you?

Yes you can get a PhD in composition. You generally have to compose a significant work comprising a full evening concert, like an opera or w/e, after having completed a masters and been upgraded.

a compositional research degree is basically the same as musicology.

What's the point in doing games with a guide? it takes everything out of it.

I can understand if you're looking for like, the very last colectible and the game and you cant find it.

I've found some 4GB RAM (DDR3 SDRAM) and a quad core 3.4 GHZ Phenom processor. How do I know everything is going to be compatible and just work?

I've had this broom for 5 years, only had to replace the head three times and the shaft twice.


You're hardly upgrading when changing the motherboard, cpu and ram.


As far as playing games with guides goes, I'm totally crap at computer games, but enjoy playing them immensely. I'll usually play a game half way through, untill the learning curve gets too hard, then leave it for two years, then play it through with a guide.

I'm pretty ****ing decent at games, played them for like ever tho.
