You really don't need it, just use emulators. That and buy some flat/semi-flatwound strings, they'll last for-ev-er.

Yeah, a good set of strings last a good long time. I'm really going to keep using these Elixirs until they fall apart. 19 months and counting.

My T-40 had Elixers on it when I bought it in Febuary. I don't think they were new, and it feels like it's time for a new set.
