Whatsup thread? Is it always this empty around now?[/QUOTE] It's not so much empty as people no longer post here when they don't have anything useful to say. There's been a crack down on the spam in this thread. To make this useful I'm just going to complain about taking AP Exams next week, which I haven't started studying for. AP=Adavanced Placement classes, which means hard. I have AP U.S. History and AP Statistics. |
I'm not taking any AP tests. I was in AP Calc, but I quit at the semester cause I can't stand math. Good luck with yours though.

Thanks. Next year I'm taking 4 or 5 APs, including Calc. Thats not going to be cool. |

I hate being wrong.. |
Eh, loves a bitch.
I used to be smart, until i switched schools. Though i almost got into Honors History and Math next year, until i heard their was more bookwork involved. I frikkin hate reading |
i do A/S* level maths, physics and geography, and next year i will do A/S level and A level french, A level** geography and A level physics - DROPPING MATHS!!! i just stand it any more, its just useless formulas etc etc.
*Advance subsidiary level  **advanced level /stupid English system. |
I'm not in any honors classes, myself. Next year I'm supposed to be in an advanced Engilsh class, but otherwise I wouldn't concider going into another. I don't do all of my work as it is, I don't need more work to not do..
|
thats the other thing with dropping maths at the end of this year, it means i get less work and i'll be able to work harder on my other subjects.
|
The only subject i hate to the bottom of my heart is spanish. It ruined my year this year. It wouldnt be so bad if we didnt have that old witch teacher we do now. She actually kicked my older sister out of her class within 2 months when she took it (a few years ago).
|
I'm still on my GCSEs :-/
|
I don't hate any of my classes except math. I've always hated math. My favorite class is probably art, or metals I. How about you?
|
I hate math too, but i find it very easy. Its just impossible to make math class anything rationally close to interesting
|
I'm actually in AP Art, and it's definitely worse than regular art. Art used to be fun, but now we have a project due every week. Not so fun.
Right now I'm not really taking any easy/fun classes. Newspaper(yes I write for the Newspaper) is alright, we don't do anything for like 3 weeks then we write an article and go back to doing nothing. |

trust me, they might seem awful at the time, but when you're in 6th form you just wonder why you got so worked up about them  NP: judas priest - all guns blazing |

There are four different levels, though, art IV being the highest. I'm in art I because I'm a freshmen, but you could say I get art II privledges, because I've proved myself. For instance, the whole class, except 3 others and myself, are working on one project, while the four of us are allowed to do a project of our choice. I chose a painting, because I love painting. |
I like writing, but suck at english because of those frikkin scientific forms they got it down to. I dont have a problem with grammatics, thesis statements, attention grabbers and all the other stuff, but i dont think it should be strictly graded for those. Why cant your own writing be unique?

I've been in that situation throughout my art career at my school. My school has Painting & Drawing I,II, etc... I was in I and II freshman year, then I took III first semester sophomore year, and second semester I took independent study, which basically means I can do projects I choose to, as long as I do something. So now I take AP Art which is ok, but with a project due every week it seems like I never get the time to develope anything great, just a bunch of decent things. |

Luckily, when I go on to higher level art classes, I think its 4 projects per 9 weeks. I hope to go to art IV, but I doubt my ability. |
Personally, I can't stand doing art. Unfortunately, it's compulsory at my school, sucks big time.
|
I saw The Animatrix again today. Has anyone else seen The Second Reneisance Pt.2? Its so **** scary.
|
i dropped art before starting GCSE courses :)
