I've been seeing a different psychiatrist every year for almost my whole life, but I've almost never been honest with them. Except that time I told one that I felt bad about masturbating and desperately needed to stop, and he told me not to stop because every person alive does it.

I wonder what they'd say to me if I ever actually talked to one about feelings
Whenever I'm feeling down, I throw on some NON on full volume and watch season 3 of sex in the city.
For me it's a matter of being bored idk. I play basketball and frisbee with my niggas that I smoke with. And me and a few friends go hiking a lot.

And muzak is fun.

And Left 4 Dead at the Nerv (LAN center).
I'm honestly extremely happy at the moment. I still get pissed off by meatheads, but I have a better temper. I def have emotion and feeling and shi, rather than just lethargy and self loathing. Thank you Zoloft!1!!!
Dimmu Burger 09-01-2009 06:33 PM

iamtherobots 09-01-2009 06:36 PM

To be blunt, Lexapro made me unable to cum.

Zoloft does not do this to me.

nator 09-01-2009 06:37 PM

Jaundice 09-01-2009 06:38 PM

I've been on Zoloft , Paxil and a few random anti-psychotics.

I don't specifically remember any of them having effects.

Jaundice 09-01-2009 06:39 PM

How long did you take them for?

I went to a psychiatrist, he was really cool actually. We used to talk about books, and I got him into David Eddings.

He prescribed me Lexapro, Xanax, and Klonopine. :D
idk, i've never worked with a therapist that seemed particularly interested in actually helping
probably because you never talk to them about feelings which is the only thing they know how to help with

RouteOne 09-01-2009 06:41 PM

Exercising helps a little with depression. Releases endorphins.

But, imagine if it released enDOLPHINS
How long did you take them for?
Zoloft three years, Paxil six months, Risperdal two weeks and then I started having nightmares and was taken off, Seroquil two weeks and then I lied about having nightmares to get taken off.

iamtherobots 09-01-2009 06:43 PM

My one friend put the video of the dude sucking off the dolphin as a comment on another friend's facebook status.

I just read the URL and didn't click.

The comments after it had nothing to do with the status and everything to do with a dude sucking off a dolphin.

Not trying to be a dick, but did you ever decide to just cheer up about life?

Life is fun tbh.

nator 09-01-2009 06:44 PM

no it ain't
Not trying to be a dick, but did you ever decide to just cheer up about life?

Life is fun tbh.
I never asked to be put on any of those, and I wasn't put on any of them for depression. My parents forced me to take them because they thought it would make me stop acting abnormal.

I'm quite capable of enjoying life, I've just been having a rough time for the past couple of months.

That really sucks dude :/ has to be traumatizing considering some of the side effects I've heard about for anti-psychotics. Did they even have you properly screened for psychosis/schizophrenia or did they just put you on them?

Jaundice 09-01-2009 06:55 PM

maybe all this depraved metal musics is getting me down

i was in a pretty happy little bubble back when I listened to Kraftwerk all day
That really sucks dude :/ has to be traumatizing considering some of the side effects I've heard about for anti-psychotics. Actually, I'm sure you'll find this interesting, they put me on them because they said the fact that I had Asperger's meant I was incapable of thinking clearly.

iamtherobots 09-01-2009 06:56 PM

Or just stop being a bitch. :)

illmitch 09-01-2009 06:59 PM
