I missed them, but Wrecked played first right? I've seen them once or twice, they're alright but nothing special.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-16-2007 10:42 PM

Yeah it was them. The guitarist's amp wouldn't stop feedbacking and it was ****ing killer on the ears. Sounded like a tube was busted or something went microphonic.

santi3hg 09-17-2007 12:31 AM

Lol.

Stick to your Guns ftwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Berk 09-17-2007 09:58 AM

I think i might see them. better supporting and this local band I like.

lynch_me 09-17-2007 12:25 PM

I saw them last year and it was alright.

NewKindofArmy03 09-17-2007 01:19 PM

They were awesome here.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-17-2007 01:19 PM

Same here. They played every song plus a cover or two, but I didn't think it was anything special.

Cool thing to do.

BuddyBigsby 09-17-2007 04:06 PM

GB played a Civ song and a Warzone song and that's all that matters.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-18-2007 09:14 PM

The benefit show was meant to be a special occasion where someone who is loved and cherished has suffered a tragedy or loss that alone he couldn’t recover from.
Robby Redcheeks lost his mother to cancer a week after This Is Hardcore Fest this summer. He called me when he was at Sound And Fury to tell me he isn’t moving to California because she is sick and has been diagnosed with Leukemia.

For most of us, the time between those two fests is spent on tour, working hard and always in anxious anticipation from one coast and great fest to another.

To think that those few short weeks would be her last was inconceivable.

I am happy to be able to be one of the guys Robby can call on for help and to be able to give it to him.

We will be holding a show in Philadelphia, a city that would not have a scene like we do today without the work he put into it 12 years ago.

We’ve called up some old friends who haven’t played in awhile and we’ve got the bands that have given Robby the strength to deal with all the hardship that has fallen on him.
I’ve only been involved in 2 other benefit shows that are as dear to me and so close to what I feel a benefit show should be held for.

One of modern day hardcore hardest working, most dedicated has suffered the kind of loss that few can really bounce back from, on top of being dealt massive financial responsibility and left to help raise three teenage boys, the youngest who suffers from Autism.

I wish we never did these kinds of shows, I wish my friends who have no pain and no worries, but I am proud of the hardcore scene enough to know that at times like this we’re going to pull together and help someone truly in need out.

Come out and show your support, the lineup is absolutely the best and the cause could be no better.

I planning on seeing em Sunday, haven't really heard both. Any good pat?

40 oz 2 freedom 09-19-2007 08:24 AM

They're both pretty solid pop-punk, I saw Broadway Calls like a year and a half or so ago on the Daggermouth tour and they've gotten better since then.

santi3hg 09-19-2007 10:22 AM

Ah wow deff wasn't expecting pop-punk The show they are playing here is only 5 bucks. Deff going then. W3rd, thanks.

Angry Balled Fists! 09-19-2007 11:02 AM

ding are very good.

BuddyBigsby 09-19-2007 09:00 PM

I don't really like Broadway Calls but they cover Kid D and Op Ivy so they're ok in my book.

Let's Chop Cats! 09-20-2007 04:59 PM

Someone with Oink download the champion lp remaster and sendspace it

BuddyBigsby 09-20-2007 08:35 PM

They seriously remastered promises kept?

40 oz 2 freedom 09-20-2007 08:43 PM

Wasn't that like 6+ months ago?

Let's Chop Cats! 09-20-2007 11:20 PM

I have no idea when it came out but it was just put up on Oink. I hate not being able to use torrents at school. The mixing/mastering was rushed the first time around so they could get the album out in time for Hellfest. Its not worth buying if you have it already, but its still better.
