Could be. I was looking for some tabs earlier today, and it seems Taborama.com has stopped displaying tabs as well. Every tab i tried to access displayed the following message:

"This tab or lyric has been removed over possible copyright infringement. We are currently looking into methods to display this tab or lyric that abide by copyright laws."

I can't see the problem with tabs though. I'm sure most decent-minded bands would be proud that people cared enough about their music to tab it.
Powertab took down all theirs as well.

I can't blame them, they are trying to save themselves from the threatened jail time. Even if it is ridiculous, a lot of webmasters rather be safe than sorry. But I have a feeling as soon as one tab site owner stands up to the MPA, they will just stop.

Ghostfire3 12-17-2005 05:14 PM

This issue is so stupid. Can someone please explain to me who has a problem with what???
This issue is so stupid. Can someone please explain to me who has a problem with what???
MPA (Music Publishers Association) print those silly little tab and sheet music books. No one buys them, so now they think they can point the blame at tab sites and try to win some money. They threatened to put them in jail.

Did you read the BBC article I posted?

Skidmark Steve 12-17-2005 05:16 PM

Stupid people
How do you know his birthday isn't in March? Or his favorite band is putting out an album in March?

It could've been a mountain of things.
1. He was talking about Against Me! then said he was looking forward to March.
2. Against Me! are touring the UK in March and he has already expressed a desire to attend.

Therefore there was a large probability that his statement of anticipation for March was linked to the Against Me! tour.

Simple.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 12-17-2005 05:18 PM

I hate to leave when the forums are actually really active, but I'm off to see King Kong.

I didn't notice him talking about AM! and I don't follow UK tourdates, since I'm a yank.

For those of you following my love life, I won't be going to that girls house :upset:

Brain Toad 12-17-2005 05:23 PM

I enjoy them when it's at my gradnma's house and such. But I really dislike going to this family member's house because it's so boring, her kids are morons and the only person worth talking to is my cousin.
