Oh man im listening to 2112 now. How much awsomeness can one album hold!?
About Lateralus much.

It is the quantifiable unit for maximum awesome allowed on a single 80 minute CD.

i.e. One Lateralus: The amount of awesome contained within the album with the name Lateralus

Corkofski 09-17-2006 04:37 PM

vista is now at RC1 stage, i have it on DVD but havent got a rig ready to run it on yet..

i would use 95 or 98 if i still could.... but i need modern programs...

damn compatibility issues

Drum Phil 09-17-2006 04:47 PM

I'll be quite happy with XP64

95 was not the best, in fact it was fairly buggy. Of all the 9x series, 98 Second Edition was the best, then 95, then ME, then 98 First Edition, in terms of stability.

Drum Phil 09-17-2006 04:52 PM

I had 2000 and it was horrible.

Yeah, definitely. I totally agree.

Windows 2000 Pro and XP blow all the 9x out of the water anyway.

We_Love_Lime 09-17-2006 05:01 PM

I don't think I ever had 98.

Maggot Dream 09-17-2006 05:09 PM

ME was awful, I had to use it for about a year. Worst OS ever.

I'm looking forward to Vista, if only because it supports DX10. Which to me means Crysis...W00t!

The piracy protection stuff sucks, but I have no doubt that someone won't come up with a way around it. It'll probably take a couple weeks before someone comes up with a solution.

Drum Phil 09-17-2006 05:16 PM

If i could be arsed learning a new OS i'd jump ship to linux.

ludvista29 09-17-2006 05:19 PM

meh, I fell off my friends skateboard messing around on it. I hit my head hard and I feel dizzy. thank you lord for helmets. :(

Drum Phil 09-17-2006 05:20 PM

I have a headache too tbh :-/

Win A Rabbit 09-17-2006 05:28 PM

I just played some TMV-type stuff on guitar for a good 2 hours. As uninteresting (generally) it is to listen to, it's alot of fun finding new ways to coax those sounds out of a guitar. Yay for my friend not playing his guitar since our band broke up like 9 months ago and leaving his amp at my house. Eventually I'll just offer to buy it from him, but honestly, I don't think he even remembers it's his.

Sync0pation 09-17-2006 06:09 PM

I had my friend's brothers bass and bass amp for 7 months before he noticed. Instead of him calling, his mom called my angrily and demanded his bass back. That was pretty funny.

Ming-a-Ling 09-17-2006 06:38 PM

In about an hour and a half I'll be leaving to go see Stanton Moore and Papa Mali. I'll try to take some pictures if it's allowed.

Aaron 09-17-2006 06:55 PM

MeaninglessPhoto 09-17-2006 07:01 PM

Did anybody watch the movie Troll 2?

Oh my god. It is the dumbest ****ing movie ever. I wasted an hour of my life stoned watching this garbage.

_Wrathchild_ 09-17-2006 07:01 PM

Sup Aaron?

Feck I'm tired. I wish I didn't procrastinate all the stuff I was supposed to do till today. I'm too lazy to do it right now.

_Wrathchild_ 09-17-2006 07:06 PM

When I got a new kit last year I attempted putting it together with my old kit to make a giant kit like that for fun. It doesn't work very well though :upset:.

Edit: A tennis court and a pool? Can I live there with you Aaron?

Aaron 09-17-2006 07:11 PM

:naughty: sure

Awesome, but why would they leave drums left over?! I would jam every possible thing onto the kit.

And nice Pink Floyd reference with the name and location.
