Own own. As in, I paid for them. With real money.

I know, it's rare for me to do that but I was young and they're just so cool. Open your eyes disappointed me.

 Nice.

I would buy them if I could get them used/cheap. I refuse to pay over 10 for any CD.

It's catchy still, not as solid, the new one was more disappointing.

NP: Rhapsody - Erian's Mystical rhymes =

Cain 03-25-2005 12:06 AM

Same old, same old. I don't have to work tomorrow, and my guitar was properly intonated today by the shop!

But it was perfect, and now it's only "almost perfect," because the douches put a wound G-string on it instead of the normal steel gauge, so I replaced it with a .16 and it slightly tilted the Floyd Rose.

Still, it's a lot better than it was before. The shop dude said they worked on it for three hours trying to fix it and that it couldn't have gotten any worse than it was. :p

Problem is I don't get to see the Steve Vai concert tomorrow. :( That's sad.

i am the robots 03-25-2005 12:07 AM

Zep, I don't care how cheesey Rhopsody are, they are still to fabulous to be laughed at.

Hey, Eleventeen, could you upload some Rhapsody mp3s? I've been meaning to check them out.

Good and bad to hear about your Guitar, sucks that it's not perfect that is....

And I'm sorry to hear about not getting to see Vai.

I don't have any Rhapsody albums, I've only heard them in my one friend's car :upset:.

Dancin' Man 03-25-2005 12:10 AM

I need a new guitar. Hopefully my new business of Codeine will let that happen.

I'm looking at a Jackson DKMGT and to replace the pickups with active EMG humbuckers.

I'll keep my strat but I want a guitar I can put heavier strings on so that when I downtune it I don't sound like a member of Korn. The locking tuners and no trem system should also help me stay in tune. Needless to say, that will be my "Metal" guitar.

NP Coldplay - Trouble

What is wrong with my playlist? out of 6000 songs, 5000 of which are metal, I keep getting Coldplay, Goldfinger and Portal. Meh, so long as it sounds good.

What is Codeine?

Dancin' Man 03-25-2005 12:12 AM
What is Codeine?
A perscription narcotic. An illegal business in short, but at 500% profit and only dealing to one person (pass it down the ladder) the pros outweigh the cons.

Question: Does anybody know the key combos for the O and A umlauts? I need them for a german paper.

Shipley 03-25-2005 12:29 AM

Hi thread, this is my first post  so, whats goin on?

Dancin' Man 03-25-2005 12:29 AM

Not really the same kind of Power Metal. Rhapsody is closer to Dragon Force/Sonata Arctica/Symphony X unless I am mistaken.

Cain 03-25-2005 12:30 AM

Ehh, whatever. It sounds cool enough for me. Go for it, Vince. :thumb:

It should be the same as for the u umlauts. On the other hand, I have a Mac, so all I do is press the option/alt key, type u, and then press whatever letter I want the umlaut over.

Sounds good. You should find a lot of cool stuff to talk about in the Classic Rock thread. Although, keep in mind, Led Zeppelin's name is mud to a lot of users here because people talk about them constantly. :) So my advice would be to talk about something else.

I'm a bit more of a metalhead, myself, but I enjoy a good deal of classic rock. You like ZZ Top?
