With that aside, life is going well in the new year. I've been spending every waking moment with my old lady, I've been writing some new music in my down time and I've been having a mad time with my crew, driving around and partying.

I've been slinging some chronic for a buddy of mine, but I'm only doing it as a spare-time kind of thing until I find a new job. Seasonal employment ran out at the Dollar Tree and I'm on call back until the end of this month. If I don't get any hours, I'm officially off the payroll, so I'm looking for another job at the moment.

I had to comfort Lela last night when it was time for her to go home. She didn't want to leave because her parents were in a mood and when they get that way, they tend to smack her around. A lot. I gave her the number of where she could get ahold of me for the rest of the night and I told her that if they so much as laid a finger on her I could make sure they never saw her again. I can too and she knows that, so I think it helped. Luckily, nothing happened last night but if it does and I find out about it, I'll have 15 people tearing that house apart in under an hour while I evacuate my girl. I won't stand for that s[size=2]hit[/size] and I'm going to make sure her parents know it.
