alcohol is marketable and socially acceptable

hydros aren't

ex. Mallcore is marketable and generall socially acceptable

elite metal isn't

you don't get withdrawals from using once, twice, three times, etc. you'll only experience withdrawal if you use very consistently for an extended period of time - same concept with alcohol.

and opiates aren't very expensive, it just highly depends on the market in your city

it only costs a lot of money if you have a habit. it costs like $10 to get high, that's a little more than alcohol and the quality is five times better.

physical addiction and withdrawals don't come into the picture unless you use regularly for over a month. i fucked around with opiates for 3 years before i got addicted and i only got addicted cause i did them every day for like 4 months. if you did opiates the same amount that you drink you would never have withdrawals

i started doing drugs when i was 16 (regularly). i started drinking when i was 18 (regularly)

i knew even when i was 16 that alcohol is worse for you than most illegal drugs. some people still don't know that. do some independent research and you will find that alcohol is widely regarded as worse than most illegal drugs. you guys are just like "hurr but it's legal dawg [I]come on[/I]"

It's pretty funny how some of you claim to know that "omg 95% of all people who drink are fags hurp derp" but spend most of your nights at home nodding on opiates, seriously I go out drinking pretty frequently but I confine myself to people I enjoy and even when I'm at a big party with others I don't know as well most of them aren't irritating or anything they're just average college students like me.

I guess I'm just not some elitist who thinks because he can contemplate the stupidity of some mainstream American habits that somehow I'm above everyone. I'm also the healthiest I've probably ever been right now and still drink regularly, it's not difficult to do and it's not nearly as stupid as some of you make it out to be.
