Animosity, best deathcore band ever.

it sucks that ASP has gotten so much better musically but the vocals are starting to turn to **** :-(

I don't see anything wrong with the vocals.

the vocals are terrible, but the music's even worse

been digging velvet dawn lately, the vocals are a bit atreyu-ish at points, but the riffs, THE ****ING RIFFS

So you like Atreyu-ish vocals over ASP?

the highs and the lows are so good, he does mostly mids though, and they have that same forced sounding hrrrgh to them, but theyre pretty low mids ill give him that

the vocals on "the onyx sun" are some of the best i've ever heard in the genre, seriously

thats what hurts the most about their current state

they're badass for sure.

another thing i like about the CR is that you can actually hear the bass. Ephemeral Plinth would be a decent example. But you could hear it on their debut as well. Sweet stuff.

basically most of the tracks on onyx has sweet bass stuff going on that is actually audible

Carnifex is ok.

theres a band called Charis that arent anything special but theyre not too bad.

Carnifex is pretty basic/generic stuff, but it's enjoyable when you wanna listen to 2-3 songs. Lie to My Face is pretty decent
