The show's at the first unitarian church. If that's seperate from the show, I haven't been there.
|
Yeah, I know. I heard that the church is awesome. The guitarist from Thursday said his favorite show of all time was Ink & Dagger at the First Unitarian Church. Sacred Grounds is this place in Yardley, it's tight.
|
Yeah, I hear about shows there a lot, but not one that made me want to go.
I love the church though, best venue in Philly. I'm going there Sunday for Death Before Dishonor, Blacklisted, Repercussion, and other bands. Edit-R.A.M.B.O First Philly show in a LONG time (years we think). Philly hardcore/punk w/ Tony Pointless's inexhaustible wit and stage presence. Record Release show. Their live shows are infamous...total mayhem. Cardboard hellicopters, Saddam Hussein costumes, full camo, staged battles between vikings and cops in the pit. Caustic Christ After Aus Rotten broke up, Corey and Eric decided to start a new band with a more hardcore direction. Adding Bill Chamberlain of the Pist/React/Broken on guitar solidified their line up. Caustic Christ play sick heavy hardcore that I would best describe as a cross between early Corrosion of Conformity and Swedish crust core like Wolfbrigade and Skitsystem. Fans of crust and fast 80's style hardcore will love them. Havor Records Municipal Waste Straight kicking ripping crossover thrash from Richmond w/ Dave Witte (melt banana/discordant axis/burnt by the sun) behind the drum kit. Six Weeks ******* Parade Holy 1996. Will they mark the retuen of power violence ? Back together ! From Florida. No Idea/Coalition/625 Records Endless Nightmare Aka "Bad Dudes" Philly punks ! At The First Unitarian Church 2125 Chestnut Street (22nd and Chestnut) Philadelphia, PA $8 / All Ages Awesome, I just found out about this. DEP is playing there soon too. |

yeah, that was it. Oh yeah, now I remember, it was the one where they were touring with Thrice. That was a good article.
|
anyone heard of Scars of Tomorrow? Apparently they are on the Norma Jean, Unearth, Atreyu tour.
|
They aren't good, I think they're on Victory. That tour is horrible, i'd like to see Unearth but not with those bands.
|
anyone heard of Scars of Tomorrow? Apparently they are on the Norma Jean, Unearth, Atreyu tour.
I like them. They're generic, though. They'll fit right in! HAHAHAHA, I crack myself up. |
anyone heard of Scars of Tomorrow? Apparently they are on the Norma Jean, Unearth, Atreyu tour.
Yeah, I saw them with Comeback Kid in March. I enjoy them on CD, but they are pretty boring live. My friends are friends with their bassist or something too, interesting fact.
|
Just like your friends with the guy from Society's Finest?!
Gods released a new CD. |
Just like your friends with the guy from Society's Finest?!
Gods released a new CD.
Hahaha, that guy got beat up by a lesbian at Warped Tour...or so he told me. He also worked at Hot Topic. Seeing as how SF change their lineup, I'm sure he's long gone. |
Hahahahhaha. That blows that he got booted. They are still pretty cool. Is The Burning Season any good?
Awesome, I just found out about this. DEP is playing there soon too.
 That would be awesome! |
Especially for a place that size. I'm not a big DEP fan though, and it's on a Thursday, so i'm not gonna go.
|

They're really loud metalcore. And they have a member of Reveille in them. |
What? You like Alexisonfire or something?
-50 cb respect and scene ponts
I like a couple of their songs, but I'm a Rise Against (RPM, plz) / Only Crime fan. I even like Tsunami Bomb a little. |

They rawk HARD. And yes they are on that tour. And yes, I'm going to see a show on that tour. And yes, I nearly pissed myself when I saw that amazing lineup. Unearth and Norma Jean are... amazing. |
They suck. They're just metalcore in slow motion.
