No, talking back to Badmoon with past reference.

Muse>Coldplay>Radiohead

Well your opinion is worthless.:p

Do you see the resemblance between the three? (least of all between coldplay and muse though)

Badmoon 09-15-2004 09:16 PM
Muse>Coldplay>Radiohead

Rusted Root > Miick's mediocre band choices. :p

RockAndRoll 09-15-2004 09:22 PM
AIM, you hog.
ah fine, I'll get it tommorow.

They should make all the IM systems compatable.

Badmoon 09-15-2004 09:23 PM

I just realized something...I love The Grateful Dead...and Santana's drummer on "Soul Sacrifice" rules.

Against Miik! 09-15-2004 09:25 PM
I just realized something...I love The Grateful Dead...and Santana's drummer on "Soul Sacrifice" rules.
I realized both a while ago.

Therefore...

me>you

sorry... :upset:

Badmoon 09-15-2004 09:28 PM

They own any band you can bring to the table.

^Table incase you where wondering.

Against Miik! 09-15-2004 09:29 PM

My favorite, the Allmans of course, are at least equal with them.

RockAndRoll 09-15-2004 09:29 PM
I just realized something...I love The Grateful Dead...and Santana's drummer on "Soul Sacrifice" rules.
You've just relaised this? jeeze you're slow!
The grateful dead are great (as is Santana's drummer) I've been showing my friends some of their stuff, but I think it's an acquired taste in much the same way Pink floyd is. You often want to start people off with something Like DSOTM because it's more normal then talot of the other stuff, Just like I think I'd have more success having them listen to A shortish rendition of good lovin or Ramble on Rose then with a super long (more obscure) jam session.

EDIT: I must be off now though, bye.

Don't lie to yourself. :p

No, it's all opinion, but we should have a weekly Classic Rock debate comparing to bands. That'd be fun.

lunch998 09-15-2004 09:32 PM

The Who is on the same table with the Dead, but in a very different style of music. So it's not really comparable.

That is good, but the Allmans and Grateful Dead would be off limits, since nobody could beat them.

Badmoon 09-15-2004 09:36 PM
The Who is on the same table with the Dead, but in a very different style of music. So it's not really comparable.
Maybe, but I think The Dead have them. and that's coming from a former Who maniac who couldn't accept that there are bands as good or better.

Badmoon 09-15-2004 09:37 PM
That is good, but the Allmans and Grateful Dead would be off limits, since nobody could beat them.
It'd still be fun to argue. We'd make teams, and chat it off. And have two judges.

lunch998 09-15-2004 09:56 PM

What two bands do you want to start with?

Badmoon 09-15-2004 09:58 PM

We need the others to help decide. Plus it needs to be a fare debate, so each who particapates must not be ignorant to the band.

lunch998 09-15-2004 10:02 PM

Yea, and people that regularly post in here are mostly intelligent. If someone says something dumb, we will just ingore it and have the debate continue.

Against Miik! 09-15-2004 10:02 PM

No, we would make a chat.

lunch998 09-15-2004 10:06 PM
No, we would make a chat.
Ah I see. I've been outsmarted again. Blast....

Badmoon 09-15-2004 10:11 PM

I'm hoping for Led Zeppelin and The Who. I will of course document each chat, and share the results with my team members to study up on the other teams tactics.

Sorry, I just got out of a WWIII thread, I been in a bit of a war faze.

Against Miik! 09-15-2004 10:12 PM

Who are team captains?

*hopes he doesn't get picked last*

Badmoon 09-15-2004 10:14 PM

I put my nominations for Paranoidd and RockandRoll. No exacts reason why, they are both intelligent members, and even the oldest.

We'll switch Cpt. each time though.

Badmoon 09-15-2004 10:17 PM

Doesn't everyone love the activities we put on here? We have the funnest thread on the whole forum.

Against Miik! 09-15-2004 10:17 PM

And/Or lamest depending on how you look at it. I like funnest though.

I'm out. It's 12:13 am and I still have homework. We will get this figured out tommorow.

Paranoidd 09-16-2004 07:05 AM
Muse>Coldplay>Radiohead

lunch998 09-16-2004 08:03 AM

*Also hopes he doens't get picked last*

magicbus 09-16-2004 11:12 AM

Picked for what?

lunch998 09-16-2004 11:29 AM
