Dead Star 05-12-2005 01:20 PM

Ok then, call me Mike from now on.

Saves confusion.

Kif 05-12-2005 01:21 PM

Will do, Jamie

Untitled 05-12-2005 01:22 PM

Shut up Jamie, your called Jamie, not Mike, Jamie.

Hmm, Jammie Dodgers.

Dead Star 05-12-2005 01:22 PM

I will accept both.

I prefer Jamie though..

Kif 05-12-2005 01:24 PM

 My friend got called a "soap dodger" because he was wearing a now-grey Nirvana shirt

Understanding In a Crash 05-12-2005 01:24 PM
 My friend got called a "soap dodger" because he was wearing a now-grey Nirvana shirt
My mate customises his clothes now. He has jeans with green patched over the knees from an old t-shirt.

Untitled 05-12-2005 01:30 PM

Ha ha, my computing teacher is a legand, he has so many sayings, such as "huloooooo" "aye, aye, aye" "super cool dude" and "chicken file" so a bunch of guys made some tee shirts with all his sayings on and wore them to computing, it was funny.

Rancid Dan 05-12-2005 01:33 PM

My internet stopped working for like 20 mins

Firecracker 05-12-2005 02:09 PM

Mx keeps dying, then coming back to life. Every few minutes, well, a few minutes ago it did.

Rancid Dan 05-12-2005 02:09 PM

Well done, and yes it does.

I'm going to bed now, so night !

Kif 05-12-2005 02:09 PM

So the other guy from Busted is doing a solo project. Not the ugly one, the other one. The one who tries too hard to look scene

This is the marketing plan of a lifetime for the pop industry. Shame Fightstar suck and that died out fast

Firecracker 05-12-2005 02:12 PM

Is that the bassist (Matt?) or the other guitarist (James?)?

Gnarmageddon 05-12-2005 02:14 PM

w00t. The new issue of Giant Magazine is here. :D

Kif 05-12-2005 02:15 PM
Is that the bassist (Matt?) or the other guitarist (James?)?
He's the bassist who plays like a guitarist I think

He has like straight black hair

Firecracker 05-12-2005 02:18 PM

I think that's Matt yeah, that would be weird.
The other one is ugly yeah.

Dead Star 05-12-2005 02:23 PM

Oh God, Not more Busted crap.

Gnarmageddon 05-12-2005 02:24 PM

I've never even heard of Busted.

Dead Star 05-12-2005 02:46 PM

Lucky you.

Understanding In a Crash 05-12-2005 03:08 PM

Didn't they die already?

Untitled 05-12-2005 03:16 PM

They split up because one of there guitarest wanted to be in a prober band, so made fightstar, or something.

the-UK-ska-scene 05-12-2005 03:24 PM

I have guestlist for a Motion City Soundtrack show on Saturday but can't go. Pity me?

I saw I Am The Avalanche on Tuesday. To be honest, I didn't get into them as much as I thought I would. I wasn't quite compelled to buy a t shirt. It was annoying, because of the stupid big queue of stupid big emo kids outside I didn't get in until halfway through their set. And I did appreciate their songs, particularly the ones I had already heard... But they were heavier than I thought, and I don't know if Vinnie's voice really goes with that.

To be honest the whole night wasn't great. I Am The Avalanche were ok, Halifax were pants, Hidden In Plain View were upbeat but mediocre, and by the time Allister came on I just wanted to go home and sleep. I don't think I'm cut out for this Drive-Thru lark. Also I tried to get drunk halfway through the show but it didn't work.

Plus all my rugby-playing friends got in a fight with some dirty emos in the pit, and my friends got chucked out but the emos didn't(?). So I went outside and hung with them after about 15mins of Allister's set.

Kif 05-12-2005 03:30 PM

Didn't Vinnie used to sing for The Movielife?

Anyway, Drive-Thru has completely died now. I mean, what do they have to show for their work? A bunch of pop-punk bands which are incredibly overated (It's harsh but true), and a zillion signings they made this year and last that will never make it.

the-UK-ska-scene 05-12-2005 03:34 PM
Didn't Vinnie used to sing for The Movielife?
Yep, and I love his voice, just not sure yet whether IATA is right. I was wearing my Movielife/Revelation Records tee.... Along with about 5 million other people  But they had it in different colours, so it was ok. At least I wasn't wearing the same topshop shirt as a 14 year old, like my mate was :amaze:

Kif 05-12-2005 03:37 PM

Haha how embaressing. Well, I just stuck MxPx on the good ol' Zen, and Scrubs has finished (Which was a rather touching episode actually. I knew what was going to happen, but it was surprisingly serious for a show like that) so I'm gonna leave that on charge and wait for Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge to wake me up in the morning

Untitled 05-12-2005 03:39 PM

****.

My printer ink has gone, and i need it, all my graphics coursework has to be handed in first thing in the morning.

Im gonna have to colour in the bit that havnt printed proberly.
