Mark Tom and Travis Show; The Enema Strikes Back. Their live album.
Oh, I have that, I was just being stupid and Couldn't figure out what the Acronym was. That album is the whole reason I even like blink, Man Overboard is still my favorites song by them.

My Greatest Hits for them would be:

Pathetic : Shows My personaly favorite part of blink. The Fact that they have two singers. even If I hate one of the singers voices, It's still fun to listen to them switch back and forth.

Carousel : The first song many people heard by Blink 182, it's just cool, and the bass intro many people seem to like.

Dammit : This sprung Blink 182 into success, it's the equvilent of Come Out And Play by the offspring. Extremely catchy, and the reason they became famous when they did.

What's My Age Again : It's popular, it catchy, and everyone loves it at one point or another.

Man Overboard : Not much to say. It kicks ***

Stockholm Syndrome: This shows a completley other side of the blink you're used to hearing and shows their versatileness as a band. It also is one of their best songs In My opinion.

Go: It's a different kind of song than most of the rest on here, and Flows nicely since it's a short song mixed in between longer songs.

Stay Together For The Kids: A heavier blink, basically the turning point of when they became a more serious blink.

Voyeur : Simply to prove that blink was not always as serious as they are now.

Everytime I look For You: Not much to say, I like it.

Honestly, I think that their current greatest hits was the best choice they could have made. After all it's a greatest hits. not a 'best of'. It's their most famous songs, not the best. These songs are my favorites, but they are not the most popular.

NP: Not Now-Blink 182

I think this is my favorite blink song, after listening to it before it was on atticus, its such a good song.

why-was-i-banned 11-08-2005 06:46 PM

I do like not now, and i heard it when i bought dragging the lake 3, but i like another girl, another planet more. I was listening to dude ranch last night again, and may i say, that if another band came around with that kind of sound and charisma that blink had, i would buy their cd.

Trudat.

Surtr 11-08-2005 07:02 PM

Yeah, I first heard Not Now off of Dragging The Lake III...It's an awesome cd.

If another band came out with a Dude Ranch style album I'm not sure if I'd buy the cd. I mean it's awesome and all, but I don't look at Dude Ranch style music and earlier pop-punk stuff as the future.

Here's a question for ya's all..now in all honesty when your 30 will you still be listening to Blink?

I'd say I might be, but not for sure. I dunno, I may mature alot between now and then and my musical likes may change with that.

I already hardly listen to Blink anymore.

I listen to an album a month. Maybe. Not even, more like two months.

New Greatist Hits here from me...

Disc 1
1. Carousel
2. Dumpweed
3. Dammit
4. Lemmings
5. Aliens Exist
6. Going Away To College
7. Whats My Age Again?
8. Adam's Song
9. Apple Shampoo
10. Anthem

Disc 2
1. Feeling This
2. The Rock Show
3. First Date
4. I Miss You
5. Shut Up
6. Easy Target
7. All Of This
8. Story Of A Lonely Guy
9. Stay Together For The Kids
10. I'm Lost Without You
11. Anthem Part II

Both of these CD's would really kick it off with Carousel and Feeling This. They'd really set the tone for the rest of the album. Also the ending tunes would really work well, with the second Disc basicly blowing you away with the last few tunes. I'm Lost Without You would have that really strong "this is the end" feel to it and then when you'd say to yourself "Oh it's over", In comes Anthem Part II. The end of this one would finish it off, as a nice fairwell.

B 11-08-2005 07:43 PM

I like how one is a comp of their new and one of their old. That way you can pick depending on your mood.

Nice list and avatar.

To your question earlier, I don't think I will be listeningto Blink when I'm 30. I will probably have the CDs kicking around, and I might pop the CD in once in a while, but I doubt they will be one of the bands I will listen to a lot.

you could just combine those 21 songs onto 1 disc?
you could just combine those 21 songs onto 1 disc?
he wanted to seperate them to get a different feel, like he explained. so he could have awsum starts and ends

plaidbassbilly 11-09-2005 02:20 AM

I like it how he figured it out like that. I would get it if it was arranged like that, instead of all their singles and stuff arranged chronologically.

do you cause I don't.

Well basicly it worked like this.
I wanted to have really good kick off and ending tunes..I figured out which songs would work best and in the end though that maybe making two CD's would be better.

The more CD's=The more Kick Offs=Stronger album

Also I figured that like myself somedays you just don't feel like listening to certain stages of Blink. So I though if I made 2 CD's you could decide..

Disc 1=Oldest/Older Blink
Disc 2=Newer/Newest Blink

Get the idea now? :thumb:

EDIT: So just got home and I found TOYPAJ in my van :D I'm just finished uploading it onto my computer and I'm givin' it a listen.
I like it how he figured it out like that. I would get it if it was arranged like that, instead of all their singles and stuff arranged chronologically.
I must agree. I'm most likely getting/gotten it though. Tomorrows my B-day so I my parents may have gotten it for me, if not tomorrow night I'm going out and using my B-day money to buy EOTS (I've heard it so much I didn't feel like buying it before) and also the Greatist Hits. Then I'll own all the Blink albums except for Buddha and the stuff before that.

So, this thread has been dead all day..It's pathetic :(

NP: Roller Coaster-Blink-182

Stew, you arranged your Greatest Hits Album amazing! If the one they made now was like that, I would buy it as soon as possible. I might be buying the Greatest Hits CD soon, since I have finally got some money.

plaidbassbilly 11-10-2005 02:09 AM

I want to get the video collection as well. Has anyone else bought that yet? Is it just the videos?
