There's some points I actually forget it's LaBrie singing.
Yeah, I mean holy crap, they do Hallowed Be Thy Name perfectly. "Running loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow YEAAAAAAAAAAAH" and he does the "When the priest comes to read my the last lines..." part and the ending part so well.

Lord Abortion 11-28-2005 05:28 PM

Wah? It's my favourite song off SFAM probably.

And I think he meant the new bootleg DVD of the 8V tour.

nowitzki 11-29-2005 05:12 AM

The fanclub DVD maybe?

Well, not Just DT's performance makes it better...the fact that the original album is a hell of a lot better than a sub-par Metallica album may help, there

nowitzki 11-29-2005 05:27 AM

I think they have covered Yes's Fragile. I would really like to hear that.
And I can't wait to get hold of the DSOTM performance.

Come on...Puppets is nowhere near as good as Kill 'em All...

ThunderBass 11-29-2005 05:57 AM

Puppets pwns Kill em all IMO...

nowitzki 11-29-2005 06:05 AM

I probably find myself listening to Kill Em All more often, but MoP is a better album.

Metallica are good, up until oooh, halfway through AJFA...then it goes downhill.
Metallica are good, up until oooh, halfway through AJFA...then it goes downhill.
Nah. Up until the end of the 8th song of AJFA.

temporary 11-29-2005 01:56 PM
Metallica are good, up until oooh, halfway through AJFA...then it goes downhill.
Some of AJFA is good, and I like most of Metallica's instrumentals a lot, as well as some songs from their first four albums, but over all I'd say they're one of the most overrated bands ever. Tons of metal bands are leagues above them, and don't get half as much attention.

Lord Abortion 11-29-2005 02:24 PM

/\/\ total agreement.

They have some good songs after AJFA, but no more than 8 or 10.
