No, the hair looks similar, but Dime had a chin beard that was red.

FatalEnergy 09-20-2005 04:48 PM

That's funny, because wasn't Dime going to join Megadeth before Rust In Peace, but he decided to stick with Pantera instead?

clairvoyant 09-20-2005 04:49 PM
That's funny, because wasn't Dime going to join Megadeth before Rust In Peace, but he decided to stick with Pantera instead?
Yep. Dime didn't join because Dave didn't want Vinnie Paul in the band, but Dime wouldnt join unless he was in.

heavy metal kid 09-20-2005 04:52 PM

i just heard the "absolution" song, it's basically an extended version of the accoustic part on "trust", isn't?

Correct. It was what dave originally planned for that part to be used as.

Yup. Just one of the many great songs by Megadeth.

Check out my recent ebay purchase:

I don't think anybody else bidded on this. I could be wrong though. Let me check......

Correction: one other person bidded on this and it was a very weak bid at that.

RustedPieces 09-20-2005 05:40 PM

I find tab books to be a waste of money, I just get powertabs.

Panvium 09-20-2005 05:40 PM

Megadeth is great, i have the rust in peace and countdown to extinction.

Been listening to Good Mourning/Black Friday and The Conjuring a lot lately.

Panvium 09-20-2005 05:40 PM

Double reply.. sorry.

Quickdrop 09-20-2005 05:40 PM

Nice buy.
I find tab books to be a waste of money, I just get powertabs.
Yeah, but I don't have a computer at home. Face it, they're a lot more accurate than standard ascii you'd find on tab sites. I will admit though that power tab is the best.

Quickdrop 09-20-2005 06:05 PM

i think Its just funner to own the tab books of the band instead of online tabs.

currently listening to: Hangar 18

Themadhatter 09-20-2005 06:10 PM

Tab books are cool. Nice and cleanly written. Good find!

NP: Peace Sells.

lightningmetal666 09-20-2005 06:10 PM

Actually I kinda like buying the tab books. This way I can learn the songs and the money goes to the band to help them write new awesome songs. In a way, I'm helping Megadeth write some new material.

(Gotta love the whole twist things around thing I just did. :P)
