I voted for him because he owns. The final lines in Space Truckin' where his voice is un-Godly high are great.
That they are, Gillan is under-appreciated like hell. Child In Time is untouchable, Bloodsucker has some of the greatest little screams ever, and Speed King is the definition of power. PinkFrued is actualy right, I've been spelling his name wrong and not noticing for quite some time now.

Np: Pictures of Home - Deep Purple (one of the most underrated songs ever, the drum intro, vocals, and organ, guitar, and bass solos are godly.)

Edit: Thanks for the ELO, Mr. Blue Sky. :)

Jacaranda 11-20-2005 12:36 PM

Sounds awesome Schyma, I bet "Hey Jude" was awesome everytime I hear it live I get shivers at the end during the little Na-na part.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 11-20-2005 12:53 PM

I agree, "Hey Jude" is a great live song but on record it tends to drag on.
What shirt did you get? I got one that was red with a blue guitar neck and what and such

Didn't Guitrguy get Hurricaned?
I got the same t-shirt.

No, he got tatoo'd.

His brother (Kingofdudes) said that their house had minor damage. Where's Slug?

I'm really digging this Guthrie album.

NP: Tom Joad - Part I - Woody Guthrie

Check your inboxes now. It seems I have more than 1 page of contacts.

Fnnrqwin 11-20-2005 01:28 PM

I'm thinking about uploading Led Zeppelin - Live In Earls Court...
It's pretty much an audio rip of part of the Led Zeppelin DVD. Tell me if you want it, and if at least 2 people do, then I'll upload it...

Wooo....

I'm seeing Coldplay in January.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 11-20-2005 03:53 PM

Why do you always have to be that way? I like Coldplay and they're one of the few mainstream Rock bands I enjoy these days. What do you have aginst them?

Kingofdudes 11-20-2005 04:01 PM
Guitrguy had a Harrison avatar that looked like Jesus a really long time ago.
Indeed he did.

I listen to "All Things Must Pass" all the time now. Almost as much as my Pink Floyd albums

NP: Beware of Darkness

Edit: The Production on the album is truly amazing

thickasabrick 11-20-2005 05:01 PM

I think Coldplay is a great band, I'd love to see them live. I've watched one of their concerts on TV and it was amazing. I love to get baked and listen to them, they are suprisingly trippy for being such a mainstream band....songs like Spies or Politik. Oh wait, Illmatic doesn't like them...sorry, I didn't notice that...I guess I don't like them either.

I'm currently downloading Dust Bowl Ballads....I love this album. I can finally return it to the library now. They keep on leaving messages on my answering machine.

And Phil Lesh would also be great to see live. Is there a site that shows where he's all touring?

magicbus 11-20-2005 05:54 PM

He had Phil Spector help produce it, which gives it that heavy, reverbish "SpectorSound" sound. I think George later regretted this, but it sounds alright to me. It's definently more monumental than then Beatles production though.

PinkFreud 11-20-2005 06:00 PM

thats cool. the black crowes are great live. lots of energy and a lot of it was from chris.

Glitterati 11-20-2005 06:04 PM

I'll have to ask Jam2Me how it went

Every morning when I wake up, and every time I pick up a Grateful Dead album I realize the gravity of the situation. I can't ****ing wait to go to college, hopefully my friends will like good music there

I actually like Coldplay. I tend to sometimes disregard the political messages and just enjoy thier music. I want to see them in Feb. when they come around to Detriot again...

Fnnrqwin: I'll take Zep's Earls Court audio. zoso515@yahoo.com
