Alriiiiight. We should be getting our own house in about May/June, gotta find someplace in central London, and we get to move out of crap halls then. When we got our own place, it's gonna be free for anyone to crash, anytime. Lol I know you're well old Mx style :p I avoided all the cheer of xmas by being passed out due to illness, it's ok cus xmas/new year was well depressing last year for some reason whereas this year it was ok.

I just stopped posting around Mx cus the same threads seemed to keep coming up, I couldn't find anything I wanted to post about anymore. But now I got a bit of motivation, I'm gonna try find new things to be interested in and talk about, I got 2 weeks til I gotta be back at uni and I don't have much to do between now and then. Anyhow the discussion thread and the ska thread in other music will keep me occupied I think

Hello all, im guessing everyone had fun last night, not me, my dad didnt let me go out so i sat watching tv having my own party drinking wine. All my friends had fun tho. Dont you just hate it when your parents are being hypocritical, when i told my dad i was going out he just said "no-one goes out on new years eve" but he had a party anyway. pfft...anyway happy new year everybody and i hope youve all been listening to death cab for cutie's "the new year"

I kind of was a sad noobie and got owned in the punk forum so i left, but then came back later and went into the pit where all the cool people are. :rolleyes: Pop-punk owns.

You would get along well with my friend, he's a big fan of ska and an ace drummer, latin percussion fiend he is. Likes all the strange ska bands i have never heard of.

One of my friends was telling me the other day how my ex has found a new hatred for ska music since we split up, I said that's cool cus he wouldn't know a scene if it hit him in the face. He likes indie/rock/metal, mostly listens to indie though, and the only kinda shows he goes to are the masssssive ones where you never get to REALLY dig the band or the music, cus the venue's too big. See to me music is about so much more than just the CDs, although I know my CDs are a lot better than his ;)

Anyhow I've decided I can only go for men with good music taste now. Anything else just doesn't cut it.
